What I wished was true

9-You're amazing!

-"Did he really cheat on you!"

-"You're overreacting! She's your best friend, practically you're sister!"

-"How did you break your ankle?!"

-"Did you're dad really die?!"

So many questions I couldn't answer, AND everyone was shoving me making walking in my boot worse. Then the bell rings so I head to my locker and grab my binder.

"Mrs.Crig?" I ask walking to her desk.

"Yes Miss Woods?"

"May I move desks, I have a note," I said handing her my Mom's note saying I mustn't sit by or work with Casin.

"Of course, switch with Savannah," she replied pointing at where Savannah was staring at Casin.

I walk over to her and tap on her shoulder, "Mrs. Crig said to swap seats!" I exclaim with a forced smile.

"Ok..." She replies leaving.

"Whatcha workin on?" I ask Cauy placing my chin on his shoulder.

"Nothing much, so you finally decided that I'm important enough to sit by?" He asked putting his pen down, looking toward me.

"I-" I was cut of by the bell.

We went through he rest of Biology and we would talk to entire time.

"Embry?" Cauy asks.

"Yes?" I reply still looking at the board.

"You know I REALLY like you, right?"

"I completely bout that."

"Oh no, but you see, I've been keeping my feelings in for years while you went out with Casin."

"Shut up, dork," I say with a small smile.

School went by in a flash and soon I was in Cauy's Ram truck.

"I can't wait to get to your house!" He exclaimed.

"Why?"

"You'll see!"

5 minutes later we were outside of my front door.

"Woof woof!" I hear a dog barking.

"You didn't!" I exclaimed and punched Cauys chest.

"Ow and I don't know!" He said with his cute shrug.

I open the door to a white and black dog.l with a raccoon type tail.

"OMG OMG OMG I LOVE THIS PUPPY SO MUCH I CANT BELIEVE YOU DID THIS FOR ME! NOW GET OUT SO I CAN PLAY WITH IT!" I yell at him.

"And just when I thought you liked me," he says and starts to walk out.

"I was joking! I swear! Now let's play with the puppy!" I yell.
