19-prom?

I wake up and I'm in the hospital. I'm alone in the room and there is a murmur outside the room.

I reach for my phone and see what time it is, but I notice the date too. December 29, 2016. That means I was asleep for almost 2 weeks. Dang.

"Oh gosh how much longer should the coma be?" I hear a familiar voice say before I clear my throat and he walks in the room. "Embry? Embry! Oh my Gosh I can't believe you're awake!" Carter (?) says to me and I nod.

"What happened?" I ask him.

"You and Jacob went to pick up Casin from a party at my house so he wouldn't DUI and he grabbed the wheel and y'all got into a wreck," he explains.

Jakob? Jacob? Jake! "How's Jake?"

"He just got a concussion. You got it worst though."

I'm able to leave the hospital in a few hours and when I get home there is a party.

Welcome home Embry!

A huge banner says. I have my Christmas with my family and friends and then it's almost over. We decide to play spin the bottle since there's an hour left before I have to go to sleep (as prescribed from the doctor).

Cauy kisses Faith.

Faith kisses David.

David kisses Mari.

Mari kisses... Carter.

Carter (thankfully) kisses me, except he doesn't peck me. He takes his time before Luis yells, "GET A ROOM!" And we laugh.

I spin the bottle and it lands on Jonathan. I kiss him lightly and he spins the bottle.

Jonathan gets Elise.

Elise gets Parker.

Parker gets Peyton.

Peyton gets Jimmy.

Jimmy gets Sarah.

Sarah gets Kameron.

Kameron gets Naómi.

Naòmi gets Luis.

Luis gets Jazmin.

Jazmin gets Topher.

Topher gets Cat.

Cat gets Jame.

Jame gets Brittney.

Brittney gets Casin.

Casin gets Savannah since everyone else is out of the circle.

Before I know it its New Year's Eve and im kissing Carter in the middle of the baseball field when his fireworks go off and after he breaks the kiss, he does something Jurassic.

He gets on one knee and says, "Will you go to Prom with me?" I kisses him again and Keirah comes from a bush screaming. "Omg that was amazing! I got it on video!!" She screams at us and we laugh.

"Well this sure makes me the happiest girl in the world," I say to Carter looking up into his blinding eyes.

"And I the happiest man," he says and leans for a kiss.

"Man? You're a boy!" I say and pull him in, laughing. We drive home and go to sleep.

"So I'm thinking of attending Texas Tech here in Texas or Stanford up in California," I say to Carter the next day when we look at colleges.

"California?!" He exclaims looking heartbroken.

"Well ya, and... I'm also looking at NYU," I murmur.

"I really hope you get accepted into Tech," he says obviously not hearing me. Phew.

"Ya, what with my GPA."

"What's your GPA? Mines 3.4," Carter says.

"4.1."

"Holy cow!" He says.

"Oh just just up," I say smiling.

"Wanna go out tonight since tomorrow is a school night and it's the last night basically? We could go to the city and eat at Red Robin or Cheddar's?" He asks. I nod and smile before saying, "Okay now go ask Kameron if  he and Naómi want to go too, if that's okay?"

"Ya, of course. Okay we can leave whenever, bye love."

I chose a pair of distressed jean shorts and a long sleeve white V-neck. I curl my hair lightly and put on eyeshadow, mascara, and lipstick. I look like a total boss.

Naómi: tonight's gonna b so much fun!!

Me: Ik rite?! C ya l8r girl!!

I grab my charger to my phone before slipping my black high top converse on. I walk out of my room and into Kameron's when he says, "Nope! Shorts are to short!"

"Deal with it!" I say laughing.

"I think I agree with Miss Embry Quill over here Kameron. That way when guys look at her I'll be like 'nope she's mine! Eyes to yoselves!' " Carter says slipping an arm around me.

"Ugh! Finnee!" Kameron says as Jacob walks in. "Date night huh? Can I come?" He asks.

"Do you have a girlfriend? Where's Mom plus?" I ask.

"Yup, she's awesome! And Mom went out with some guy from work." Yay! Moms finally going out. I text her to make sure se doesn't have a heart attack when she gets home to no kids.

Me: me Carter Kameron Naómi Jake and his gf are goin out tonight. B back b4 2. And WHY DIDNT U TELL ME ABOUT UR DATE TONIGHT!?

Jake calls his girlfriend, Jae, and we pick her up. She has dark red hair and green eyes.

I look at Carter who's driving and take my phone out. I take a picture and comment; date night! More like TRIPLE date night! I love you Carter Mason! Wouldn't want to spend my night with anyone other than y'all folks! @ Naómi _stylin @ kameronwoods @ jacob.case @ jaelynnjone

"Did you really just take a picture of me? It's on!" Carter says picking his phone up.

"Carter you're gonna get into a wreck!" I say laughing. I hear click click. I realize how quiet it is in the backseat and turn around. Jae is asleep on Jake's shoulder and he's holding her hand. Awww! I tell Jacob to kiss her on top of her head and as he does I take a picture.

We'll have a house party we don't need nobody! Turn your TV off break that boom box out...

We hear Sam Hunt and I start dancing and singing. I get a call from Naómi and answer it to Kamerons voice, "Stop swerving Carter! And turn yalls music down. We can hear it and see Embry's dancing!"

"Deal with it!" I say and laugh.

We reach Chedder's and go inside and it's packed. Oh boi!
