Chapter Thirty-Two

Cemil's POV

"Charles please stop." I cried.
Zach didn't even block him and he just laid there taking the hits. I didn't dare to come up between them because I knew I'd be hurt and it wasn't just about me but the baby too.

"Zach!" I shouted to at least make him fight back but he didn't move.

I ran outside to get the guards and luckily, five of them came to help. They managed to push Charles off Zach and that's all I needed to shield him from my brother. I knew he wouldn't attack him if I was with him and that's what he did. He shrugged off the guards and was about to come to Zach again but stopped when he saw me there. I had tears in my eyes and more of them came down when I saw how he had destroyed my boyfriend's handsome face.

"CJ get off that man now!"

"Stop this Charles. Please."

"CJ I'm warning you." He growled and I left Zach and ran to him.

I threw my arms around him and placed my head on his chest then cried. All the anger left him and I heard him curse before wrapping his arms around me. He tried to make me stop but I didn't stop right away. I didn't like how Zach looked and I knew it was all because of me that he felt pain. It was also because of me that Charles was this angry and hitting his friend.

"Quit down now and explain to me what the hell is going on here. Aren't you supposed to be at Jonathan's? I don't understand and I'm so confused. So explain to me."

"I will. Please sit down."

I stepped away from him and he took a sit and looked at me. Zach had left the room and he was just coming back with a towel as he cleaned his bleeding face. I sat down beside Zach but the growl from my brother made me change a sit. Zach was sitting alone and so was I, as we faced Charles. He looked at Zach before positioning his eyes at me and raised a brow. So I started talking.

"Wait. So you had been seeing each other before you met your mate? Why would you do that?" Charles halted my explanation with a question.

"I-I don't know. I was lonely and I-"

"Did he pressure you into a relationship with him?" He asked and I shook my head while looking at Zach who rolled his eyes.

I continued my story and hoped he wouldn't interrupt again. I jumped off some private things and when I told him I had ended my relationship with Zach when I met Jonathan, he interrupted once again.

"So does that mean you are pregnant with your mates child? I don't think you said anything about doing stuff with this one." He inquired and I groaned.

"Well, I did some stuff with Zach just before I ended our relationship."

"Who in their right mind does that? You basically cheated on your mate CJ!" He shouted and I looked down on my lap in shame. I had really cheated on Jonathan and I didn't even know it.

I braced myself and finished the rest of the story. He remained silent and I took a glance at him. Charles was looking at Zach with a deadly look and I bit my lip as I waited for him to say something or anything.

"So let me get this straight. You met this one and started a relationship where you fucked before ending it. You then went to Jonathan and you couldn't work out your differences and ended up rejecting each other after he found out you were pregnant for another man." He finally spoke.

"Yes brother, I-"

"Get your things packed; we are leaving."

"Charles I-"
