Cemil's POV
"Goodnight baby." My mum kissed me on the forehead and I left the kitchen.
I was helping him cleaning the plates that he insisted on doing it himself. He claimed he didn't want to give the omegas a tough time, so he wanted to do it himself. I stayed and helped him as Amber and uncle Liam left with their mates after Zach and Shane left. Mum told DJ's mate not to help, so she went to her room. I was the only one stubborn to stay with him and I helped him clean.
"Baby," my mum called and I turned around to him. I was about to climb the stairs and he stood by the door to the kitchen. "I just wanted to tell you that Zach is a wonderful boy. I'm glad he chose you as his mate."
"Really? No test?" I asked and he rolled his eyes making me laugh.
"I don't need a test to see a good man and he is one fine of a good man." He said and I smiled.
"Thanks ma."
He watched me go and after I reached the top, I heard the sound of a door closing. I entered my room and then went straight for the bathroom. It had been a long day and I just had to take a bath to relax myself a bit. After the bath, I dried myself and then wore Zach's T-shirt and boxers. These days I just love to wear his clothes and not mine. I got on bed just as there was a knock on the door. I called out to let them in and the door opened then Charles walked in.
"Hey." He greeted and then sat on the desk chair.
"Hi." I replied.
Charles stayed silent and I didn't push him to know why he was here. He looked tired and I wondered if it was about me and Zach that made him look like he was struggling with himself. I saw the looks that he threw at Zach when he wasn't watching and I also saw Zach looking at him when Charles wasn't watching. These two were hurting and it pained me because I didn't know what to do.
"I don't hate him and I'm not mad at him." Charles said and I looked at him. He was bouncing his leg and looking out the window.
"Then why don't you tell him that? Charles, Zach wanted to tell you so many times but I told him not to tell you. So please don't blame him for anything. He is hurting and I know you are hurting too."
"I'm not mad about him for that. I was but now I'm not anymore. I've messed up Cemil and I don't know how he will react when he hears of it." Charles looked at me with tears in his eyes and I got off the bed and went to him.
"What is it?" I gently asked while holding his hand and squeezing it.
"It has always been us three; Zach, Janelle and me. We have been friends for a long time and I saw nothing coming between us. When Zach started getting distant, it was just me and Janelle. But then she started getting distant as well and I was alone. I tried calling Zach but he always cancelled our meetings. I called Janelle and was glad when she agreed to meet me at a club. We started drinking to the point were I got drunk and she got drunk too. In our drunk stupor, we ended up sleeping together. You know the whole waking up in the morning and finding yourself naked with your best friend. It was hilarious and Janelle left that morning and never answered my calls." He stood up and stopped by the window. The moon was out, shining brightly and it was a good time to go for a run.
"Yesterday, the reason I came at Zach's place was because I needed a friend. I had just met Janelle and she told me she was pregnant with my child. I was happy to hear that but what she said next broke my heart. She wants to abort the baby because she found a boyfriend and they are in a serious relationship. She said it was a mistake what we did and the baby is an outcome of a mistake and she wants to get rid of it." Charles was trembling by now and I hugged him. I couldn't believe he was facing all that alone.
