Cemil's POV

I loved mornings because of the birds who made it their business to sing and charter so early just as the sun was rising. I was awake but still lied on the bed listening to the birds and the loveliest sound from my husband and mate who was snoring lightly beside me. I had my head on his chest and his arms were around me. It was the best moment but then the alarm didn't think so as it started ringing, signalling I had to get up and get started on the day.

"Dearest, off." Zach mumbled and I got up to turn the alarm off.

The alarm was fused in the wall after a numerous times of it getting bursted by Zach and I was tired of buying the same thing a hundred times. To turn the alarm off, one had to get up and press a button on the wall to silence it. It really helped me to wake Zach with no difficulties and he knew better than to tamper with it using his magic.

I set an alarm in an hour for Zach and then discard the T-shirt I wore during the night so that I can take a bath before going downstairs. After my bath, I get dressed and rush downstairs to start preparing breakfast.

"Good morning dad."

"Good morning Sadie." I greet my eight year old daughter as she gets seated on one of the dining chairs.

I quickly finished setting everything on the table as she began getting herself some food on her plate.

"Hey baby," I greeted Zach when he entered the kitchen. He kissed Sadie on the cheek then kissed me on the lips while mumbling his greetings.

"Are the boys up?" I asked.

"Not sure."

"Can you please get them for me? They are unusually late coming down today. I'll make you a plate."

Zach grumbled but still got up to get the boys down for breakfast. I took a seat and started putting together the favorite breakfast food for my husband. A growl sounded in the house which made both me and Sadie pause on what we were doing. I pushed my chair back and got up, ready to go upstairs, but the kitchen door opened and Omri entered followed by my husband and then Shane. Zach looked angry and I wondered what had happened.

"What happened?" I voiced my worries.

"Shane show your mother." Zach snapped which made Shane to visibly flinch but then he took off his shirt.

"Oh my!" I gasped at what I saw. "What happened to him?" I asked as I approached him to check on his bruises but then something else caught my attention. "Is that a bite mark?" I asked in horror.

"Answer your mother Shane." Zach ordered and Shane gave me a nod.

"Who did that to yo-" I stopped asking and then turned around to face a very shameful looking Omri who stood awkwardly in the kitchen. "What did you do to him?" I asked the vampire boy.

'It's not his fault mum. I said yes to him, he didn't force me or anything. Please don't be mad.' Shane signed to me as he now stood between me and Omri who looked guilty while staring at the floor.

"Why would you say yes to that? We get him blood all the time and he got so many blood bags in the basement. Why making our son a blood bag too?" Zach yelled.

'Dad I chose to be his blood bag because I love him. He's my boyfriend.'

"Oh no!" I exclaimed and hugged Zach to restrain him from moving towards his son. "Sadie baby, hold your dad for me."

My eight year old girl quickly put a spell on his dad that I knew will hold him. I turned to the two boys while ignoring a growling Zach and sighed.
