Cemil's POV
"Hello son," my father answered the call.
I remained silent for some time since I wasn't sure of what to do yet. I wanted to turn back on my decision but then I remembered I had no where to go. Tears fell from my eyes as I remembered Zach's rage on me. The things he said hurt but what else did I expect from someone I hurt.
"Are you still there son? Are you okay?"
"Yes dad. I'm fine." I spoke at last, pushing away the bad memory and willing the water works to stop flowing down my face.
"I miss you son. I hope you ate doing okay there. You know I never wanted you to leave but we had no choice. Protecting you had to come first and we had to send you away. I-"
"Dad I found my mate." I cut him off before he went on and on.
"What? You did?"
"Yes dad I did find him."
There was a silent and I started to get worried but then a shout in the background made me roll my eyes.
"Cemil! Honey! Get your sweet ass up here...Our son has finally found a mate...We have to go over there now and I've already linked the beta that the alpha family is leaving...Where the hell is Amber?...DJ get your sister now before we leave her behind...CJ we'll talk later about this mate of yours. We are on our way and will be there soon."
The call ended and I sighed. At least it seemed some people were happy of this outcome but that wasn't me at all. Why was the goddess doing this to me? I wished I knew the answer to that.
I was at home, in the living room. I laid on the couch and waited for my family to get here. Liam had left around lunch time since him and Doc had a lunch date, but I think that date got extended because he was not home yet and it was 03:49 pm (15:49).
A few days has passed since Zach drove me home and that was the last day we talked or seen each other. I wanted to call or text him but I couldn't get myself to do that. His words reminded me of exactly why I should not communicate with him.
I met my mate again yesterday. He came to the school's office looking for me. He had seen me talking to Doc on that day and that's who he asked for my whereabouts. I was nervous to be around him since everything of him made my heart skip a beat. The best part being his voice.
