Today is Christmas Day and Aria is determined to make it perfect since it's Olivia first.
"Okay kids!" She calls, clapping her hands.
Olivia crawls on the floor. She hasn't really tried to walk yet but they were trying to ease her into the idea of it. Ezra has been holding onto her hands and trying to get her to walk but she doesn't really try. It's still a little early. Mason and Hope didn't start walking until they were almost a year old.
Aria pulled out a cookie sheet and some bowls. She did all the hard stuff first like cracking the eggs and adding all the dry ingredients.
"Go wash your hands if you want to help with the cookies!"
The twins run in after, jumping up and down. They started scooping out the cookie dough and folding it with their hands, giggling in the process.
"It's sticking to my fingers!" Mason calls, shaking his hands trying to free his hands of the dough.
"Add some flour" Aria says, pouring some onto the table.
"Thanks mommy" He says, laughing.
In about twenty minutes, they had all the cookie dough on the sheets. Aria popped the pan into the oven and the twins waited impatiently for the timer to go off. She motions them away into the living room to play with Olivia who was rolling around on the floor. Aria leaned against the table and watched her babies play so well with each other. Mason had figured out how to play Christmas music and had Olivia standing up. He was moving her arms which causes her to giggle. She was actually walking around a little, swaying to the music.
"Look Mommy!!" Hope shouts, pointing at Olivia. "Livy is starting to walk"
Aria clapped her hands and smiled. Hope takes Mason's spot and tries to get Livy to walk.
"Guess who?" A voice calls, placing two hands over Aria's eyes.
"Hmm is it Mason?" She jokingly questions.
"I'm right here mom" Mason's voice calls from a distant. "In the living room"
That causes both Aria and Ezra to laugh.
"It's your wonderful husband" He sings, removing his hands from her face.
He turns her around to face him and digs into his pocket, pulling out a small box. He gets down on one knee and opens the box.
"Aria Marie Fitz, the love of my life" He starts
"I can't imagine my life without you. I can't thank you enough for our three beautiful children. I wouldn't be the same without you.
He removes the necklace and placed it around her neck. "Can I kiss you?"
"Did you even have to ask?" She says, grabbing his face and slamming her lips onto his.
"Ewwww" Mason calls "gross"
"Can you believe it? Our son thinks we're gross" Ezra asks, placing his hands on his hips.
He runs over to Mason, picks him up and throws him over his shoulder causing Mason to laugh.
"Daddy, let me down" He giggles as Ezra spins.
"Not until you apologize to your mother" Ezra says "Your mother and I are very cute, not gross"
Aria can't help but laugh. This was such a perfect moment.
"Okay okay. I'm sorry" He calls, hanging onto to Ezra for dear life.
Ezra places him back on the ground and picks up Hope, twirling her in the air.
"Ahhhhh" She calls, giggling.
He sets her down and picks up Olivia, setting her on his shoulders. She drums on his head as she cooed. He sits her down, holding onto her hands. She sways to the music and starts to move her little legs. Aria makes her way to the couch but was stopped by Ezra.
"Not so fast my dear" He says, picking her up like she was a feather.
"Ezra!!" She calls as he spins around.
They spin around to the rhythm of the music.
"I love you so much, baby" He whispers in her ear. "Merry Christmas"
