"Ezra" Aria said into the phone as she lay in the hospital bed.
"Aria, where are you? Where is everyone? I thought we were meeting at Emily and Alison's for dinner?" He questions, immediately getting concerned. "Are you alright?"
"I'm okay, but I need you to come to the hospital right now" Aria tells him, biting her lip.
"The hospital? Are you sure your okay?" He questions and Aria hears the sound of the engine starting as Ezra probably was pulling out of Emily and Alison's driveway.
"I'm fine. I passed out while I was helping everyone set the table for dinner" Aria explains and a gasp escapes Ezra's lips.
"Passed out? Oh gosh, Aria. I'm driving as fast as I can" Ezra exclaims as Aria shakes her head with amusement. She was crazy in love with this man. She had been for over ten years now.
"I'll see you when you get here" Aria tells him, before hanging up the phone. "I love you"
"I love you too" Ezra says, which causes Aria to smile. Even the littlest things made her smile.
She heard a small knock on the door and Hanna walked in with Bella, her one and a half year old daughter. "Did Ezra answer?"
"Yeah, he's on his way" Aria replies, smiling at the baby. "Can I hold Bella?"
Hanna instantly agrees, handing Bella to Aria. She knew how sad Aria was when she found out she couldn't have kids and when the adoption fell through on a one year old baby from China this past year.
"Bella loves her Aunt Aria" Hanna tells her as the baby giggles and wraps her small fingers around Aria's.
"I'm here!" Someone calls as the doors bursts open and Aria immediately realizes that it's Ezra.
Hanna takes back Bella and leaves the room to give Aria and Ezra some privacy.
"Did the doctors come in yet? Did they check on you? Did they tell you what's wrong? Are you okay? Do you need some water? Some food? Can I get you anything?" Ezra talks fast, asking a million questions which made Aria laugh.
"I'm fine babe" She said, as Ezra leans down to give her a kiss. "The doctors said they would come in when you got here"
Soon enough, a doctor came into the room.
"I assume this is your husband, Mrs. Fitz" The doctor asks Aria and she nods.
"Yes, this is Ezra" Aria replies, introducing the two men to each other.
"So we have your lab results back" He sits down on his chair and rolls over to Aria's bedside where Ezra sat on the corner of her bed, holding her hand. "It looks like you're six weeks pregnant"
Aria and Ezra quickly lock eyes. This was impossible. The doctor all those years ago had clearly stated that it would be impossible for Aria to conceive a child, but why was this one telling her she was pregnant? She didn't understand.
"I'm sorry, Sir, but there must be a mistake" Aria says, shaking her head. "I was told that I'm sterile"
"Well, I have your lab results, your blood tests, everything shows that your pregnant" The doctor explains. "If you were told you were sterile, this pregnancy is super rare. One in a million. As rare, as finding a four leaf clover or winning the lottery or being struck by lightning"
Ezra and Aria couldn't believe what the doctor was saying.
"Congratulations" He says before leaving the file on the side table where Aria's lab results and a ultrasound picture. Aria didn't even realize they were doing an ultrasound for that specific reason. That thought didn't even cross her mind.
"Ezra, we're pregnant" Aria says, wrapping her arms around him and holding on so tight. Tears streamed down her face as she cried. "We're going to be parents"
