Ezra picks up the note that sat propped up on the kitchen counter.
Snookers at 7? See you then. - Aria
Ezra smiled and put the note back down after reading it. Two hours later, he arrived at the bar. He noticed Aria sitting at the bar, sipping a drink.
"Hey babe" He said, leaning over and kissing her lips.
"Hey" She cooes as he orders a drink.
"So I got you something" She says, sliding the plate towards him.
"Ahh my favorite" He picks up the fork and tastes the pie. "Key lime"
Aria took a bite of the pie. "That's good"
Ezra smiles and laughs.
"What's so funny?" She asks him
"You have a little something" He says, motioning at her lip.
"Oh I do" She asks, trying to rub it off her face.
"No, I.." He trails off, kissing her on the lips. The bartender set down Ezra's drink, interrupting the kiss. Ezra pulls away and takes a sip of his drink.
"Can I have the bill?" Aria asks the guy nods.
"We're leaving already?" Ezra questions.
"Hold on big guy" She jokes, taking the slip and mouthing thank you.
She takes her pen and writes someone on the receipt.
"Hey babe, they added something extra on the bill" She says, holding it out to him.
"Okay let me see" He reaches for it but Aria pulls it back.
"You have to read everything we ordered out load" She says and Ezra scrunches his eyebrows with curiosity. "Just because I love to hear your voice"
He chuckles and starts reading. "One water. One whisky. One key lime pie. One baby"
His eyes shoot up from the receipt to Aria's smiling face.
"You have to read the back too" She says as he flips to the back of the bill.
Aria's cute handwriting was scribbled across the back. "Congrats daddy" He reads slowly.
"Congrats" She says, as Ezra leaps from the chair and picks up Aria.
"We're having a baby" He says, smiling.
Aria wraps her legs around his waist, holding on tight to his neck.
"Yes we are babe, yes we are" She says, burrowing her head into his shoulder.
