I woke up early again so I could take a shower before I went to school. After I got out of the shower I heard my cell phone ring.
"Hello?"
"Hey Nicole, it's Ashley from art history."
"Oh, hey what's up?"
"Just wanted to let you know that class is canceled today. I'm not sure if you remembered our professor telling us that after the test yesterday."
"Oh, I totally forgot. Thanks for reminding me."
"Haha no problem. But there is still class tomorrow."
"Okay. Sweet I can go back to sleep."
"Haha same here. I'll let you then."
"Alright, bye Ashley."
"Bye, see ya tomorrow."
I went straight to bed after that phone call. I was still tired from work the night before. That was the only class I had today and it got canceled. Awesome! I set my alarm clock to ring at noon. Soon enough I was in dream land.
-Joseph's p.o.v.
I decided to go buy Nicole some breakfast before we went to school as a thank you for buying me coffee yesterday. I drove to a cafe that was close by and order some pastries and coffee. Then I headed back to the apartment complex. I almost dropped the food when I turned the corner and saw a guy walking his pitbull and the dog started barking at me. Luckily the dog had a leash and the guy controlled him so I didn't get attacked. That was a close one. I headed to the elevators and went up to Nicole's apartment.
*knocks on the door*
I stood there for a bit and I knocked again. No answer. I wonder if she left for school already. I put the food down and decided to call her to see if she was home.
"Hello?" She sounded like she just woke up.
"Hey good morning, are you at school already?"
"Uh, no, my classes got canceled. I was sleeping."
"Oh, sorry for waking you up."
"Aw that's okay. What's up?"
"I bought you breakfast as a thank you for the coffee yesterday."
"Oh, you didn't have to do that. Haha, wait, were you the one that was knocking on the door right now?"
"Haha yeah. I decided to call you to see if you were home since you didn't answer the door."
"Ah, okay I'll go open the door then."
"You sure? You can go back to sleep if you want."
"Nah that's okay. I'll wake up now. I'll open the door right now."
"Haha okay."
*hangs up phone*
Nicole opened the door and I walked in. She looked super tired. She still had her eyes closed. I kinda felt bad for waking her up.
"Good morning sleepy head."
"Haha good one." She stumbled to the kitchen table and sat down.
"You sure you don't want me to leave so you can go back to sleep."
She rubbed her eyes and yawned.
"Nah, I'm fine. There's a dog up stairs that keeps barking anyway."
"Haha dang that sucks."
I walked to the table and placed the food down.
"I bought banana nut bread and donuts."
