-Joseph's p.o.v.
I've been busy with teaching singing classes at the youth center all week with AJ again. Kept my mind off of Nicole since I missed her so much. I called her a couple of times to talk, but she had been super busy with work. She said we could hang out Thursday night after she got out of work. So I was excited to see her again.
*phone rings*
"Hello?"
"Hey it's AJ, can you help me teach a couple of classes today?"
"Sure. When?"
"Uh, right now. My help ditched me today."
"Ah, okay I'll be there in a bit."
"Thanks man. See ya."
I changed clothes and headed out the door since I had came back from a morning run.
After helping Dominic with classes we went to eat since I said that he owed me lunch for helping out today.
"Ok, fine I'll buy you lunch."
"Sweet."
We ate at a little deli shop that was down the street from the youth center.
"Thanks for helping out today. I had a lot of students today."
"Yeah, no problem."
Then AJ's phone rang
"Hello?....Hey what's up?.....Heck yeah I'm totally down..... What time?.....Sweet, see ya guys there." He hung up the phone.
"Hey Jo, what are you doing later tonight?"
"Gonna visit Nicole. Haven't seen her all week."
"That was Pete and he invited us to go cosmic bowling later tonight. You and Nicole should come with."
"Alright, I'll ask when I see her."
"Cool."
I went to AJ's place to chill for a while before heading back home. When I got home I found Eric cooking dinner. There were candles on the table.
"I'm guessing Christy is coming over later?"
"Yeah."
"Nice."
"I was gonna ask you if you would leave the apartment for a couple of hours."
I busted out laughing. "Yeah that's fine I'll be with Nicole anyway."
"Oh, okay. Cool, don't want things to get awkward."
"Ew, me either."
I headed to my room and played my guitar for a while and waited for Nicole to call when she got home.
*phone rings*
I looked at my phone and Nicole's name popped up.
"Hello stranger." I started laughing.
"Hey, I'm out of work if you wanna come up and bug me." It was good to hear her voice again.
"Haha, okay. I'll be there in a bit."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye."
I was heading for the front door and someone started knocking. Eric pushed me out of the way to answer it.
"Woah, what the heck man?" He ran past me.
"Ah, sorry." He looked through the peep hole and gasped. "Aw, crap it's Christy."
