Woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I reached for it on the little table that was next to my bed. I didn't even look at the screen to see who it was.
"Hello?"
"Good morning." Joseph said in a somewhat singing voice.
"Good morning. What time is it?" I sat up and started rubbing my eyes. It was super bright in my room.
"It's 8. I was wondering if you wanted to go eat breakfast before we go on a double date with AJ and CiCi."
I thought to myself: 'Where the heck are we going this early in the morning for a double date?' Oh well, didn't really matter since I'd be spending time with Joseph. Haven't seen him since I've been busy with work and he's been busy with his music.
"Uh sure."
"Okay, cool."
"Just let me wake up a little and get dressed."
"Haha okay. Come over when you're ready."
"Okay, see ya in a bit."
I got out of bed and got dressed. Wasn't sure where or what we were gonna do today so I just put on a plain black t-shirt, jeans, and my new purple converse sneakers. I put my hair in a pony tail and headed out the door to Joseph's place.
-Joseph's p.o.v.
There was a knock at the door. I went to go open the door and it was Nicole.
"Hi Joseph."
I gave her a big hug since I haven't seen her all week.
"Hi."
"Okay, you can let go now." She started laughing.
"No, haven't seen you in a while."
"Haha it's only been a week."
I let her go.
"That's a long time." I smiled at her.
"True." She still looked sleepy.
"Wake up sleepy head!”
"I will after I eat something."
I started laughing.
"Well, come in. I made breakfast."
"Haha really? I thought we were going out to eat."
"Nope, made breakfast here, might not be as good as Eric, but it's something."
She started laughing and sat at the kitchen table.
"Okay, what did you make?"
"Close your eyes."
"Ah, okay."
She covered her eyes. I went to the kitchen counter and grabbed the plate of food and placed it in front of her.
"Okay, open them."
She looked down at the plate and smiled.

Joseph made pancakes for breakfast.
"Ahh! It's Mickey Mouse."
Joseph started laughing and grabbed the other plate that was on the counter and sat across from me.
"Oh, what do you want to drink?"
"Orange juice if you have any."
"Uh, I think Eric finished that. Let me check."
