Since I didn't have work I woke up around noon. I totally forgot that Joseph slept over. I jumped a little when I walked out of my room and saw him sleeping on the couch. I laughed at myself, I covered my mouth so I wouldn't wake him up. I noticed that he was sleeping with my pillow pet Pete. He looked so cute. He was hugging him really tight. I went to the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal. I sat at the table reading the junk mail I got the day before. I heard Joseph moan then turn over on the couch. I started laughing because the blanket fell on the floor and he tried reaching it with his eyes still closed. After a while he just gave up and went back to sleep. After I finished eating my cereal I put the bowl in the sink and decided to wake up Joseph. I walked to the couch and kneeled down next to him.
"Wake up sleepy head." He turned to face me and he barely opened his eyes. He smiled a little then turned away and went back to sleep. I started poking him.
"Wake up lazy bum!" He grabbed Pete and threw him at me.
"Hey! What the heck?" I picked up Pete and started hitting Joseph with him. "Wake up!"
Joseph grabbed the other pillow and tried hiding under it. He was mumbling something, but I couldn't understand him. "Wake up it's past noon."
He threw the pillow at me. "Okay, I'm up!" I busted out laughing since he still had his eyes closed.
"Open your eyes."
"No, it's too bright." He put his hands on his face.
"The blinds are closed."
"What? They are? It's still freakin' bright in here."
"Well, the light is on." I started laughing. He sat up on the couch. His hair was standing up kinda weird. I started smiling then busted out laughing.
"What's so funny?"
I pointed at his hair. He tried fixing it, but nothing changed. I started laughing at him again. He grabbed Pete and threw him at me again.
"Grr! Quit it." He started laughing.
"Well, stop laughing at me."
"Haha no, you look funny when you're sleepy." He smiled. I stood up. "What do you feel like doing today?"
"Uh, whatever you want." Joseph's phone started ringing.
"Hello?... again?... okay, fine I'll be there in a bit." He hung up the phone and had a sad face.
"Everything okay?"
"I gotta help AJ teach class today."
"That's okay. I have some stuff I gotta do anyway."
"Can I come back later today?"
"Yeah, that's fine." I started smiling. He got up and folded the blankets and put them on the couch.
"Sorry I gotta leave. I'll call you later, okay?"
"Okay." He gave me a kiss on the forehead and headed out the door. I headed to the art store to buy some more supplies before school started again. When I was at the store I started getting a headache. Not sure from what. I rarely get headaches. Then every now and then I started hearing a weird beeping noise. I just thought it was from the cashier machine so I didn't really pay that much attention to it. On the way back to the apartment I started hearing it again. I checked my phone to see if that was it, but nothing. Maybe it was because I was still sleepy from the day before. When I got to my apartment I put my new art stuff next to my desk and decided to take a nap and maybe that will help my headache go away.
