-Nicole's p.o.v.
AJ pointed at me with a serious face and said: "I challenge you, Nicole."
"Haha, okay."
We headed to the pool table.
AJ: "Best 2 out of 3?"
"Sure, you break."
AJ: "Alright."
The 1st game was so intense. We were both stuck on the 8 ball. We kept going back and forth, but AJ finally made it in. Dang it! AJ: 1 Nicole:0 2nd game he was kicking my butt. Then he scratched so it was my turn. I kept making my balls in, then I was on the 8 ball. Had to bank it since his balls were in the way. Corner pocket! I won. AJ started yelling: "Nooo!" I put my hands up and busted laughing. Freddie and Joseph came over to the table to see what happened. Joseph was smiling at me.
Joseph: "Did you beat him?"
"Yeah, we have one more game. Tie breaker."
Freddie: "Ooo, I'm gonna watch this."
AJ: "Nice, you guys will be able to witness Nicole getting her ass kicked."
"Haha, sure. Rack them loser."
AJ started shaking his head and set the table for the final game. Joseph and Freddie sat on the stools that were close to the pool table.
AJ: "You break or me?"
"I'll let you break. Give you a chance to beat me." I stuck my tongue out at him.
AJ: "Alright, but if I beat you, I don't wanna hear you cry like a little baby."
"Haha, we'll see who will be crying. Break."
AJ broke and made a ball in so it was still his turn. He made a couple of more in then he missed so it was my turn. Another intense game, even Freddie and Joseph were freaking out watching us play. I started getting kinda nervous since I still had a couple of balls left on the table and AJ only had one left plus the eight ball. He made the last one in, but missed the eight ball. It was my turn. I kept looking at the table for a while to see what shots I had open. Alright so I thought the whole thing out. I made all of my balls that I had left. I was so relieved for that, but then I had the eight ball. AJ started freaking out and started running around the table trying to distract me. I busted out laughing and the others started coming to the table to see what was going on. Everyone else was watching me while I tried to figure out the last shot, which made me a little more nervous. I took a deep breath and took my shot. It felt like the cue ball was rolling in slow motion. I held my breath the whole time and I totally thought I was gonna pass out. The guys were all going: "Ooo" as we all watched the eight ball roll across the table. I closed my eyes since it started to slow down. Crap it;s not gonna make it in the pocket. Then I heard it go in. I opened my eyes.
"Ahhhh! I won!" I started doing a happy dance. Everyone busted out laughing and cheering. AJ had a sad face. Remind me of a little kid. I went to go give him a hug.
"Good game."
AJ: "Yeah, that was pretty intense."
Freddie wanted to play so me and Joseph teamed up against him and AJ. A couple of the guys watched us play while the others went back to the lanes and bowled a little more. Not really sure how many games of pool we played, since we lost count. We started calling trick shots for each other to make the game a little more interesting. We were laughing the whole time and having fun. A couple of the guys came to say good bye since it was getting late. We played a couple of more games before the bowling alley closed.
"Good game you guys." I said to Freddie and AJ. Me and Joseph said bye to Freddie, AJ, CiCi before heading back to the apartment. On the ride home my eyes started to burn.
"What time is it?"
Joseph looked at his watch. "2:37"
"Damn! No wonder I'm sleepy."
He started laughing. When we got to the apartment complex he walked me to my door.
"Thanks for going bowling with me tonight."
"Thanks for inviting. I had a lot of fun tonight." I gave him a hug. I pretended to start snoring.
"Hey, wake up." I started laughing.
"Sorry, I fell asleep there for a second." He started smiling at me.
"Well, I'll head home so you can sleep." He gave me a kiss good night. "Can I see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, I have tomorrow off."
He started smiling. "Sweet."
I gave him another hug good night and he headed down the hallway. I went inside and closed the door. I stumbled to my room since I was super sleepy. I fell on my bed and started to fall asleep.
-Joseph's p.o.v.
When I got to my apartment I heard music coming from our place. I opened the door slowly to see what was going on. I found Eric and Christy making out on the couch. Eric started signaling me to leave. I quickly closed the door and started laughing out in the hallway. That was super awkward. Eric opened the door.
"Hey, man." He turned back to look at Christy. "Hey, mind staying over at someone else's place for the night?"
"What? It's 3 o'clock in the morning and I'm super tired."
"Well isn't Nicole still awake? Ask if you can stay over."
"Ugh, okay fine.”
"Thanks bro."
"no problem." Eric closed the door. I headed back to the elevator to head back to Nicole's place. I didn't want to bug her, but I didn't have anywhere else to sleep and I didn't feel like driving to a hotel just for one night. I called her to see if she was still awake.
"Hello?"
"Hey Nicole, it's Joseph."
"What's wrong?"
"Uh, can I sleep at your place tonight? Christy is over at out place with Eric."
"Uh, sure."
"Okay, I'll be there in a bit."
"Okay."
"Bye."
I headed to Nicole's apartment. I knocked on the door with a regular knock since I didn't want to be too loud and wake up the neighbors. She answered the door.
"Hello again."
"Hi" I gave her a hug. I closed the door behind me.
She pointed to the couch. "I got some extra blankets for you."
"Sweet, thanks." I headed to the couch and laid down. "Sorry this was a last minute thing."
"That's okay. It's better than sleeping in your car."
I started laughing. "Good night Nicole."
"Good night." She was heading to her room than I heard her running towards the couch. She gave me a big hug. I started laughing and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She smiled at me and headed back to her room. She stuck her head out of the door way and said: "Promise me you won't kill me in my sleep."
"What?!?" I busted out laughing. "I promise."
"Okay, good night." She headed to bed. She's such a goof ball. Soon enough I was knocked out on the couch.
