Chapter 8- Tigerpaw

Tigerpaw marched angrily to the apprentices den, she had almost tripped over another apprentice but caught her self. She laid down in her nest , she closed her eyes and awoke in a dark field the sky was starless. The  a dark figure appeared before her, it was a dark tabby just like her. Then it spoke.

"Ah, young Tigerpaw it's nice to finally be able to meet you."

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Growled Tigerpaw.

"My name is Tigerstar." Tigerstar chuckled "I'm here becuase I am you."

"That doesn't make any sense!"

"Of course it doesn't, so I'll tell you." He narrowed his eyes "A Starclan cat ,made a mistake in creating you, you see evil cats aren't meant to come back to the real world. I am a evil cat, but mistakes happen but they might regret this mistake."

"What do you mean they will regret this mistake?"

"They will regret it when you begin to accept your fate."

"What fate?"

"Your fate is to end up as how I am, evil, killing innocent cats for power. Who do you you think killed Snowhawk?"

"It was badger or fox!"

"No Tigerpaw, it was you. Tell me where were you the night Snowhawk was killed?"

Tigerpaw looked down, she couldn't remember anything "I-I don't know."

"Exactly, I was taking control over you. I want you to accept your fate, take revenge on the clan that ruined my life."

"Why should I listen to you! What if I don't want to hurt my clan mates!"

"Why Tigerpaw, you already have." Tigerstars image was fading. Tigerpaw was looking around frantically.

"No! Come back!" Then the scene changed, there were dozens of cats below her. Tigerpaw looked down she was standing on a pile of bones. Prey and cat bones, next to her was Brindlepaw. He was scarred up but still looked proud, he turned his head.

"Are you ok Tigerstar?"

Tigerpaw woke up she was breathing heavily, she had made a mess in her moss bedding and the other apprentices were stirring in their sleep. What was that dream, do I really have to choose that fate? That question lingered in Tigerpaw's mind for the rest of the night.
