(Adam's P.O.V)
School again yay. Its really starting to get irritating but I want to see my friends so I guess i'm somewhat okay with it. I got out he car and Xavier grabbed my hand and kissed me softly on the cheek. It felt weird because we haven't been out for that long but I wasn't complaining.
We walked into school and of course we got a lot of looks. One of the most popular kids in school holding hands with the loner, yeah that's not going to cause rumors.
We met our friends at the water fountain like usual.
"Adam what happened to you?" Jonah questioned me immediately, he was refuring to the still noticeable bruise on my face. Images from that night started to play in my head sucking all the air out of my lungs. Xavier noticed and stepped in immediately.
"Daniel happened." Xavier said wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me to him.
"You know where he is?" G chimed in.
"I'm gonna start going to class." I walked away unable to stand there any longer.
"Ok, I'll catch up with you later." I walked away choking back tears. 2 seconds later my phone chimed in my pocket.
From Xavier:
I love you💕
I quickly typed a reply back and walked into my first class.

(Xavier's P.O.V)
From Adam:
I love you too ❤️
Adam replied back causing me to smile but I know he's still upset.
"Is he ok?" Dylan asked
"No, Daniel hurt him pretty bad, when I found him he was crying so hard that he could barley talk. He doesn't like thinking about it, it makes him feel like he's reliving it"
"Do you know why he did it?" Abagail finally talked.
"Yeah.." Then the bell rang.
"We'll continue this later." I said before we all went to our classes.

(Lunch)
"Where's Adam?" Austin asked me when I sat down at the lunch table.
"He said he wasn't feeling well so he went home."
"How, he can't drive." Dylan asked
"He had his skateboard in my car."
"Ok so why did Daniel hurt Adam." Hunter joined the conversation.
"It's kind of a long story."
"We have time."

By the time I finished explaining everything all there faces were littered with confusion.
"So let me get this straight, you and Daniel used to date then broke up but he's not over it so he hurt Adam?" Abby said still sounding confused.
"Yeah pretty much."
"So what are we gonna do about it?" Alice added
"I don't know, but I do know that if he lays another hand on my boyfriend I'm gonna kill him."
"Same" They all said simultaneously.
"What time is it?"
"Time to start going to class lunch is over in like a minute."
