Chapter 8

Tris pov

Today is senior prom and of course I have no date who wants to bring the pregnant girl hahaha no one.

All my friends have dates. Tobias and Lauren are going together. The only reason why I'm going is because my mom wants me too and I don't want to make her upset. Christina and Will are giving me a ride to prom.

I bought a baby blue dress because of chip. It's nice and long and flows. It's strapless and fits me really good even with my big belly.

I curl my hair and put it all to one side. I'm wearing heels which I know I'm going to regret later.

"Beatrice your friends are here" my mom calls me from downstairs.

"Coming" I say and walk downstairs.

"Tris you looks pretty" Christina says to me

"Thanks so do you" I smile to her and she grabs my hand so my mom can take pictures.

"I think I got enough go have fun" my mom
Says so I give her and my dad a hug then leave with Christina and Will.

"Thanks Chris for picking me up I really owe you one" I say to Christina as we drive to the hall where prom is at.

"It's the least I can do" she says

We get to the hall and I sigh knowing that as soon as I walk in there I'm going to see four. Looking handsome and cute. He's going to be with Lauren most of the night.

We walk into the hall and it's beautiful. Star decorations everywhere, A photo booth, music. It's amazing. I just wish I had someone to be with.

"We're going to dance so just text me if you need me" Christina says to me and I nod smiling while her and will go to the dance floor to dance.

"I must say you cleaned up nice" I hear Tobias say behind me. I turn around and smile. He's wearing a tux. He looks so gorgeous.

"You don't look to bad yourself" I say smiling

"You really do look beautiful" he says

"Thank you" I say

"Where's Lauren" I ask him

"In the bathroom fixing her make up with her friends" he says

"While I have you to myself want to dance" he adds and I shake my head no.

"I don't want Lauren to get mad" I say resting my hand on my belly

"I don't care. I want you to have an amazing night too" he says

"Not now. Maybe later" I say

Why did I say that I should have danced with him.

"Fine. But you can't leave tonight without giving me one dance" he says and I giggle

"I'm not making any promises" I say and he laughs

"I should go find Lauren. I'll see you around" he says and I nod.

The rest of the night I dance a little with Christina to some of our favorite songs but I get tired and I also want her to spend time with Will.

Prom is almost over and I still haven't danced with Tobias. He's asked me a few times throughout the night but I always told him I was tired.

"Everyone grab your dance partner and hurry to the dance floor this will be our last song of the night" the DJ says and I see Lauren walk up to four but he shakes his head no and walks over to me.

"Go dance with Lauren. She's staring me down with her devil eyes" I say to him and he grabs my hands and pulls me up.

"I don't care. I told you, You would have to dance with me at least once tonight. This is the last song so you kind of have to dance with me now" he says walking us to the dance floor.

He puts his arms around my waist and pulls me close to him.

The song Wanted by Hunter Hayes plays. Tobias grabs my arms and puts them around his neck.

"Don't think about Lauren I want it to be just me and you right now" he says and I smile

"I don't know how to dance" I say

"Well your doing fine" he says holding me and swaying us back and forth.

He spins me and pulls me back to him making me giggle. He holds me close to him so I lay my head on his shoulder and close my eyes.

The song finishes so I pull away and he continues to hold my hand.

"Thank you for tonight" I say

"You deserve it" he says

"Are you ready to go" Lauren says interrupting us.

"Yeah" Tobias says

"I'll see you" he says

"Yeah" I say smiling and him and Lauren leave.
