Chapter 12

Tris pov

"Ready to go" I say to Tobias who holds Logan.

"Yeah" he says

Today Logan has his first doctors appointment. He's getting some shots so I'm really nervous about the crying.

I'm happy that Lauren isn't coming. She has college now so she's not going to be around a lot.

Tobias and I are not going to college we just decided not to but Lauren is so I get Tobias all to myself for awhile.

Lauren's goes to a college where she's away all the time. She has a dorm and everything.

"So Lauren's away in college so I was thinking about surprising her tomorrow with a visit. I just wanted to let you know because I guess I won't be around to watch Logan for 2 days. Is that okay" he says

"Yeah. That's fine. Sounds like fun" I say

"It will only be 2 days. Then I'll come right back to help you." He says and I giggle

"Tobias it's fine go have fun with Lauren" I say

"Okay" he says

"So little Logan here is nice and healthy. He will need 2 shots but then your on your way" the doctor says

"I'll see you next time" the doctor says gently pinching Logan's cheeks then she smiles at us and leaves.

"I don't think I can be here when he gets his shots. It's too painful to watch" I say

"Tris" he says chuckling

"He's going to cry and then I might cry" I say

"Your going to be fine. He needs his mom to hold his hand. I'll hold him but you should stay" he says so I nod.

The nurse comes in and holds the shots in her hands. I grab Logan's small hang and squeeze it gently.

"I think your more nervous than Logan" Tobias says to me

"Because he doesn't know what's about to happen" I say back

"Come here" he says grabbing my hand

"Okay he's going to feel a little pinch" the nurse says getting ready to stick Logan's leg with a needle.

"1,2,3" she adds and sticks the needle quickly into Logans leg. He lets out a big cry and I wince. The nurse quickly puts the second needle in and he screams again.

"All done" the nurse says and smiles and leaves.

"My poor baby" I say grabbing Logan out of Tobias hands.

"Tris he's fine" Tobias says chuckling

"I know but I just hate seeing him in pain" I say

"We should get going. I hate the doctors" I add and I get up hold Logan close to me.

Tobias holds Logan's diaper bag and we walk out of the office and go home.

Wow this was short but I have exciting things coming. This story is so trash I know but I'm working on making it better.
