Chapter 11

Tris pov
1 week later

"I'm here. I'm sorry it took forever" Tobias says coming into Logans room.

"Finally what took you so long" I say as he hands me the diapers

I ran out of diapers for Logan last night but I forgot to go out and buy more so I told Tobias before he came in the morning to buy some diapers.

He comes every morning and stays every night till Logan goes to sleep. He wants to take Logan for a night but I still don't want Logan going anywhere without me.

"The line was long at the store" he says

"Whatever it's fine" I say changing Logan's diaper

"Here let me help" he says

"I'm already done" I say picking Logan up and handing the baby to him.

"Are you okay? Do you need anything" he says rocking Logan back and forth in his arms.

"I'm just tired" I say putting diapers away.

"How many times do I have to tell you I can take Logan off of your hands if you ever just want to rest or do something" he says

"I don't need you to take Logan for a night I can handle it myself" I say

"Tris I'm here. Why won't you let me help you" he says

"I do let you help" I say

"You don't let me take my son home with me. I thought we had this conversation." He says

"How's tonight then. Just take him" I say

"Tris I don't want you to be mad at me" he says

"I'm not mad" I say walking out of the room and into the kitchen to get a bottle.

"You seem mad" he says and I reach my arms out for Logan.

"Tobias can you just drop it" I say holding Logan and feeding him his bottle.

"Fine" he says leaning against the counter and watching me as I feed Logan.

"Be careful with his head" I tell Lauren as she sits on the couch trying to hold Logan.

"Four can you show her" I say to Tobias.

"Babe Like this" Tobias says showing her how to hold Logan.

The word babe bothers me. If only he was calling me that.

"Hi little guy" Lauren says making baby faces at him and Logan starts crying.

"Awe come here buddy" Tobias says taking Logan out of Lauren's hands.

"Can we go now" Lauren says

"I can't wait to take this little guy home" she adds

"Okay buddy let's say bye to mommy" Tobias says getting up and walking over to me.

He hands me Logan so I hold him in my arms and play with his hands.

"Mommy will see you tomorrow" I say to Logan. I give him a few kisses on his cheeks and pass him to Tobias.

"Call me if anything" I tell Tobias

"I know what I'm doing Tris don't worry" he says

"Okay" I say and they leave.
