Part 3 for Taeil :D Once again, a continuation from the last one-shot about him, so I do hope you remember what happened there :P

His P.O.V

Seeing a somewhat familiar figure paying for some ice-cream was enough to make me stop in my tracks. And since I wasn't headed anywhere particularly important, it wouldn't hurt to just drop by for a bit.

The staff welcomed me like they would with any other customer and naturally, I smiled and said a little 'hello' to them as well. The person from before had opted for a little table tucked away in a little corner of the store. The same little corner I remember sharing with (y/n) when we decided to come here.

I noticed the flavours this person was having. The same flavours (y/n) absolutely adored - one was (y/n)'s all-time favourite, the other one I had chosen when we first met. But then again, those two flavours could have been anyone's favourites.

However, something that could not have been just anyone's was this aura I was getting from this person. I know it sounds cliche and what not, but it's not like everyone has an identical aura to the person next to them, right? And this person was no exception.

And because I was so confident in myself, I decided to go ahead and ask for this person's identity. Okay, maybe more of a 'reconfirm' this person's identity.

"I'm sorry, but... I don't suppose your name is (y/n), is it?"

This cute little grin then plays on this person's lips. The cute little grin I remembered from two years ago when (y/n) recalled a nice little memory.

With a little nod of the head, a response of, "and you're Moon Taeil, aren't you?" follows from this person's lips.

I couldn't contain my smile with the voice that I immediately recognised from two years ago.

"I suppose you've heard of me before."

"And where have you heard of me before?"

"I little something called luck, I believe."

From there, I was offered a seat right in front of the person I had longed to see again for the past two years. A person I had shared beautiful memories with. A person I wished to make even more memories with, now that I have been told about their scholarship!

And somewhere between all the chatter and ice-cream consumption, (y/n) says, "I haven't seen you in two years. But now that I have, it's like there's been no gap at all."

I couldn't help but smile yet again and agree with that statement. (y/n) was the kind of the person you'd meet once, but always seemed to fail at forgetting about them. The kind of person you could talk to after a long period of not seeing their face or hearing their voice without the atmosphere getting awkward or boring :)

And somehow, this reminded me of the last thing (y/n) said before having to leave Korea. So I asked if (y/n) was dating anyone and luckily enough, they weren't! And to make things even better neither was I :D

"Hey, I had been thinking about what you told me two years ago," I bring up. I honestly have, since it felt like it was the only way I could remember that beautiful voice.

"For two years straight?" I smiled at (y/n)'s little joke and wished I could say yes without making it sound obsessive.

I asked if (y/n) still had the same feelings for me from two years ago and funny enough, the answer was yes. As much as I wanted to say I did too, I knew it was way too risky to do so. Not so much as for the damage to my image as an idol, but more of (y/n) having to go through the many hardships and torment that comes with the price of dating a famous person.

So instead, I offer to go to the park, since one could only sit for so long. (y/n) finished off the ice cream, and off we were after thanking and saying goodbye to the employees.

It had been a while since I last enjoyed a walk without cameras having to film me and directors having to instruct us and tell us where we were going. It had been a while since I didn't have to worry saying anything too dumb since I didn't need a sensitive microphone clipped to my shirt.

It had also been a while since I last walked with someone I adored. The most recent memory of that I could recall was from two years ago, before (y/n) told me about the departure. Before (y/n) told me about those feelings for me.

My dwelling on the past soon comes to an end when (y/n) asks if we could feed some ducks that were chilling at the pond. And because I couldn't find any signs that stated that we couldn't feed the wildlife here, I say why not.

So (y/n) heads to a convenience store to pick up some bread while I try to make up my mind on whether I should tell them about my feelings. As much as I wanted to, I also didn't want to put (y/n)'s life in jeopardy. But then again, I feel somewhat pressured to express my feelings, since (y/n) had already told me about their current feelings.

Yet again, my train of thoughts is interrupted by that beautiful voice telling my that the bread had been bought. We took a handful each and tore them into pieces to throw in the direction of the ducks.

"I used to this a lot when I was younger. Brings back good memories." (y/n) shares. It was nice to know that (y/n) was sharing a good experience from the younger days with me :)

And I guess now would be a good time to tell (y/n) I kinda, sorta, loved them :D

[~Tbh, tell me if there are ducks in your country because I only recall feeding koi and pigeons when I was younger XD Anyways, exams were in the way and now they're not so yippee hopefully more updates! Till the next time I write~]
