It was a lovely winter day and you had gone to the library. Lmao of all places to go during the winter. Like, while everyone is making snowmen and having snowball fights, you had to go the library :P

Well, you'd have to technically blame your teachers for that one. I mean, why would anyone give homework that had to be done during the gloriously jolly Christmas season D: 

Because education, that's why :1

Anyways, you had gone to the library since your neighbours' were being rather distracting while you did your work. I mean, they were nice people and all, but let's just say that they had a very 'ambitious' spirit when it came to the holidays. 

So yeah, the library :D You did what you had to do there and thanks to the lack of distractions available, you were able to finish your work. What a productive day you had :)

Of course, since you couldn't stay in the library overnight, you had to head back home. But then again, would you actually stay in a library overnight, because I tbh would XD

So you were on your merry way back home when you noticed some girls on the other side of the street pointing at your side. You couldn't make out their expressions since they weren't standing very close to a street lamp. 

That was when you noticed out of the corner of your eye, a man wearing dark clothes running down your side of the street. You hadn't any time to react when he ran past you, grabbing your wrist in the meantime. Well then, you hadn't any other choice than to run with him. Besides, it was a good way to get all that stress from the homework out of your system :D

So the both of you ran and ran down the sidewalk. You assumed that whatever he was running from must be of the human form, so it was possible that you two could hide from them. Your knowledge of the area you two were running in was quite decent, so you knew there was an alleyway coming up.

When it did, you did your best to stop. Yeah, like hitting the breaks of a car. The man turns his head to look at you and immediately, you recognise who it is - Yoo Kihyun because lmao who else could it be :D

Before you could fangirl over the fact that one of your favourite idols had grabbed your wrist and dragged you along for some unnecessary exercise, you nod to the alleyway you two were in front of. You know, the one you predicted would come up. 

He then got the message and into the dark alleyway, you both went. And considering it wasn't the most spacious place you've ever had to share with someone, it was quite a privilege for that someone to be a person you've always admired from the other side of the screen :D

Soon, you hear the sounds of multiple footsteps and rather concerned voices asking, "where did he go?" and "which way do you think he went?" from around the corner. Before you could peek your head out to have a snoop around, he tightly grips your arm to prevent you from revealing the hiding spot.

He then summarises that he was walking back to his dorm when a couple of fans noticed him. When they tried to ask him for his autograph, he started to panic because it looked like more and more people were also recognising him. When it came to choosing flight or fight mode, it was quite obvious that he chose the flight mode. But then again, could you really blame him?

The buzz from around the corner seemed to die down a little, but you could still hear some muffled voices. He finally let you have you little peek, allowing you to see about a dozen girls swivelling their heads like owls looking for prey. It was quite understandable why he was running with all his might earlier. 

You then came up with an idea and told him, which he approved of. You stepped outside the little alleyway and onto the sidewalk. Just as you expected, the group of girls noticed you and proceeded to ask if you had seen a man in dark clothes pass by.

To that, you say yes, pointing in the opposite direction of the alleyway. And just as you had planned, they thanked you and went off immediately to find that adorably talented being you were hiding from them :3 

When you thought they were far enough, you headed back to the alleyway and signaled to him that he was safe. After double checking the premises, he comes out, puffing out little smoke clouds from all the suspensions earlier.

He thanks you and you accept it, saying that you appreciated helping idols escape some extremely excited fans every once and a while :P

When you asked why he dragged you along, he says that it was because you were in the way earlier. However, as he didn't want to accidentally shove you to the ground and be trampled by the girls, he thought it was the best thing to do to just take you along for the ride :D

You chuckle at that explanation and said that you enjoyed the ride anyways. He then asks you for your name and when you say so, a bright smile suddenly takes over his face.

When you ask yet again why he was smiling, he says that he remembered once liking someone of the same name back when he was in high school. And then he asks which school you once went to, you could guess how brilliant his face got when you answered the exact school he was thinking of. 

Unfortunately, you didn't remember ever seeing him in high school, but you decided against saying that to not burst his bubble. Once he was able to speak again from being speechless to nostalgia, he asks if you two could exchange phone numbers, which you obviously did because why not :D

"(y/n), it looks like my Chrismas present has arrived a little early." 

[~lmao how'd I come up with that last bit XD anyways, I hope you're are genuinely having a jolly or merry time, regardless of season :) Till the next time I write~]
