Okay, so for this one-shot, you're gonna have to keep this in mind :

Italics - English
Normal - Korean

That's for the speaking parts! It is crucial in order to understand what is going on in the story :D

===

You heard the sounds of footsteps while your head was down. You already knew who it was by the pattern of his tip-toeing.

"Boo-"

"Seungkwan..." you said in annoyance. You heard him take the seat in front of you and lifted your head.

"No, it's Vernon..." he claimed. Well, it obviously wasn't. But why not test it out anyways, with some spoken English :D

"Seungkwan-nie"

"Hmm?"

"How are you today?"

"I'm fine, thank you?"

"What are you doing here?"

"Because...it's...lunch time?"

"Wah~ you're getting better and better :D"

"Jinjja? Gomawo (y/n)!"

He had that goofy smile plastered on his face and you went back the sheet of paper on your desk.

After a while, you were subconsciously twirling your pencil in your fingers, trying to come up with something clever to jot down. At the same time, he thought it would be a good time to ask, "what are you writing (y/n)?"

Which wasn't a good time to ask you that. You ignored him, but that couldn't last very long, could it?

"(y/n)-ahh, what are you writing?" he asks again. After adding the full-stop, you looked up and handed him the paper.

To his surprise, it was filled with words. On both sides. English words. On both sides :3

You see, your family spoke both Korean and English, leading you to be fluent in both languages. You also liked writing during your free time.

So what better way to use your time than writing fan-fiction :D

Seungkwan probably didn't know what fan-fiction was, but he was reading it. You wrote a fluff since you were still a novice writer.

"(y/n), can we act this out?" he requests. Did he understand what you wrote? Seems like it.

You nodded. Might as well take the opportunity to test the scenario - to see if it was realistic.

"Saturday. I pick you at 10," he said. He was following the sheet of paper in his hands like a script. You laugh slightly at his broken English, but you had to admit, it was kind of cute.

(Saturday, at about 0955 ~)

Somehow, you got up earlier than noon on a Saturday morning. You got ready for the day ahead and were just reading when the doorbell rang.

Naturally, you headed on over and answered it. Unsurprisingly, yet satisfyingly, Seungkwan was standing there.

"Hi (y/n)," he greeted you. You could sense a shy aura from him, from his restless fidgeting and unstable voice. This wasn't the exact Seungkwan you knew. The bombastic, outspoken, diva-like Seungkwan everyone is used to.

But hey, you can't really hate this side of him either. It was actually - kind of - adorable, in a way.

"Hey Seungkwan," you greeted him, "you look nice, today."

"What?! You mean I don't look nice every day?" he sounded 'hurt', flicking a lock of 'undeniably real' hair out of the way. Looks like DivaBoo is back.

"Fine, you look exceptionally beautiful today, Boo," you corrected yourself. He understood that, except responded with, "don't call me Boo."

After stifling a giggle, you finally got out of your house and off to wherever you had stated in your story which Seungkwan had in his hand for the majority of the time.

It would be an understatement to say that you were surprised at his understanding of your writing. When you asked if anyone helped him translate it, he just looked at you with confusion. Maybe he actually could understand your writing :D

However, there was this one problem. No, not the fact that he was constantly messing up words and that you had to correct him for the majority of the time. It was the fact that you hadn't exactly finished writing your story.

Or more precisely, the ending of your story had yet to be decided. That, and a few possible grammatical errors here and there, but that's not the point.

So when it came to the part of him having to drop you off at your home, you could guess how awkward he felt when he didn't have a script to say to you. But then again, he was Boo Seungkwan, he could definitely improvise!

Although, his tapping feet and restless fingers said otherwise. The idea that this side of him existed made you feel somewhat special to get a front row seat to see it. And since this side of him seemed to be a hindrance to his ability to speak, you thought it'd be a good time to thank him for the lovely day you two had :D

After doing so and letting a few more awkward moments pass by, you ought to say goodbye and let him be on his way back. But just before that, he says, "let's do this again soon!"

And to that, you smiled and agreed with him. Though you couldn't exactly say this was the ending anyone really expected, it was definitely better than no ending at all :D

[~lmao I'm sorry if the writing seemed lazy D: this was actually from an idea I had back a few months ago XD so what would your ideal date be? I'd like either cafe hopping or just strolling :D Till the next time I write~]
