Chapter 17: Crush...?

Josh's POV:

Gamescon has been pretty uneventful so far. I've been to check out some new games and things like that, which is one of the main reasons we are here, but I haven't had chance to relax or hang out with anyone. So that's why today, I'm taking Freya with me to Phantasia Land, and I think Tobi was planning on joining us too.

"Frey, you ready to go now?"

"I am now babe, let's go." I hear her say as she emerges from the bathroom.

As we're leaving, I receive a text from Tobi.

Tobes: Hey Josh, am I still cool to join you two today?

Me: Yeah, absolutely fine. You gonna meet us there?

Tobes: Sure, see you in a bit

Me: See you

Today should be fun, I can't wait to spend time with my girlfriend and my best and oldest friend.

Simon's POV:

Josh, Freya and Tobi have gone to Phantasia Land today, so I won't see them until later, if at all. So I'm spending today with Vikk, and possibly JJ, which should be cool. I think we're going to just chill in the VIP area or whatever, I'm not really sure.

"Hey Simon, you ready for another day of new games and just relaxing away from a desk?" Vikk asked, appearing from nowhere.

I laughed, "Yeah. Not going to lie though, all this exercise is tiring me out."

This also made him laugh. "Its your own fault for never getting out anywhere."

"I suppose it is."

"Well, I'd say its time to go now, so come on" Vikk said, disappearing as quick as he'd first appeared.

Today should be pretty uneventful, even if I am spending it with Vikk.

So far so good. I've spent the whole day checking out one of the halls and just wondering about, not really doing that much really. Although, I am planning on doing a livestream later if the internet allows me to and I'm still up for it a little later on.

My mind hasn't really been in the right place today. I've zoned out on Vikk a couple of times and I think he's noticed something is wrong but he won't know what. Being away from my desk and recording is good because it allows us to relax for a week, but it also gives me more time to be thinking about these things. Oh well, I'm sure my mind will sort itself out eventually.

"Right, time to head to the VIP section, I need food." Vikk said from beside me.

"Me too, I'm starving." I nodded in agreement.

"We're headed into the mysterious box, are you ready?" I said to the camera as I lifted the material that was covering the entrance. Vikk was singing the Pirates of the Caribbean theme tune behind me, not really sure why."Are you ready?"
