Chapter 16: Travelling

Josh's POV:

It was that time again. Time for gamescom. We'd exhausted ourselves recording double the videos for the past week to make up for the days we'd miss and packed all our stuff, and it was finally time to leave.

"Guys, you ready to go?" I shouted from the bottom if the stairs, pulling my suitcase to the door. "We're going to meet Tobi at the airport."

Just as I said that, Simon appeared at the top of the stairs, suitcase in hand. I guessed the other two would be ready soon, or at least, I hoped they'd be.

"You ready?" I ask him as he struggled down the stairs with his suitcase.

"Yeah I am. When's Freya getting here?"

"She should be here any minute, if she isn't, we'll be late." I laughed.

"She'll probably get here before the other two come down, anyway." Simon replied, which was true, the time these guys were taking.

Before we could start a conversation, the door bell went. Just as we'd predicted, Freya had arrived before the other two had made it downstairs.

"Hey babe." I said as I answered the door, pecking her lips as she came in.

"Hey." She noticed Simon behind me. "Hi Simon."

" Hi," he quickly replied, "well seeing as Freya's here and the others still aren't, I'm going to go and check on them and hurry them up." I nodded at him before he climbed back up the stairs.

Once he'd gone, me and Freya started talking about different things, filling the gap until the others came down, while enjoying some alone time at the same time.

Simon's POV:

Ugh, why does she have to come with us? This is work related but she still has to come, and that means I probably won't see Josh very much, if at all, this trip. She's Josh's girlfriend, though, she's allowed. I don't see anyone else bringing someone with them. Well if Josh wants her there, she's going to be there, so play nice, for Josh.

I knocked on Vikk's door.

"Yo, Vikk, you ready yet? We need to go." I shouted through the door.

"I'm coming now." He shouted back, followed shortly by him opening the door.

"Took you long enough, Freya was here before you were ready."

"Hey! At least I'm ready, I don't see and signs of JJ yet." He laughed, acting offended even though I knew he wasn't.

"I'm going to hurry his lazy arse up now."

"Well, good luck with that." Vikk chuckled as he began his descent of the stairs.

Now came the hard part; making Jide get moving.

"JJ, we're leaving in a couple of minutes and if you don't get out of that room, we'll be leaving without you!" I didn't dare enter his room because who knows what's on the other side of the door.

"For fuck's sake, I'm here, I'm ready!" He practically screamed in my face as he opened the door.

"Okay, then let's go!" I screamed back, just to annoy him.

We both quickly walked down the stairs...well, when I say quickly, I mean I walked quickly to avoid getting hit by JJ with his suitcase as he pulled it down the stairs.

"Finally!" Josh sighed out, "Let's go."

The whole way to the airport, Josh and Freya were talking, and her voice and laugh were really beginning to piss me off. I had wanted to talk to Josh, but I just couldn't get a word in because of Freya, so I settled for not saying anything and just listening to whatever music was playing.
