// Matthew's POV //

The grass felt cool between my toes as the suns rays shone on my bare arms and the sounds of laughter arose from an area over the hill. I walked across the sweet green to the edge of the crest to see children running in the dip below me and people walking about with smiles on their faces. It was a sight to behold but I didn't get to see it for long as a hand was placed on my shoulder.

"Are you going to join us or just stare at them all day?" His soft and angelic voice calmed me as his beautiful grey hues looked back at me with a purity all of their own. Dominic's warm touch slid down my arm to my hand where he grasped it firmly and lead me down the hill. "You want to say hi to Penelope and Morgan?" Dom brought me over to the short blonde woman and the tall brunette as they turned away from the children they were watching.

"Matthew!" Penelope called as she wrapped her pale arms around my torso in a tight hug, causing me to breath out in discomfort. "I'm glad to see you could make it!" She let go and planted a loving kiss on my cheek as Morgan came up to me next and placed a heavy hand on my shoulder. I looked down at it to see a gold band sitting on his ring finger, making him smile at me.

"Nice to see you again, Matthew," he spoke as two more people came walking up to our group. A tall brunette and a young blonde who carried a small child in her arms as another walked hand in hand with the man. "Chris and Kelly are here too. They brought the little ones."

"Aren't they adorable? I haven't seen the family in a long time," Dominic gushed beside me as he waved to the couple who strutted this way. "You haven't met Kelly yet, Matt. You'll love her, I bet."

The family stopped beside Morgan and Penelope as the woman placed the child in her arms on the ground, making her run away with the other kid who I suppose are their children. The brunette father embraced me in a quick hug as the woman held out her hand for me to shake, introducing herself as Kelly. I greeted them and watched the people around us intermingle and laugh along to their conversations.

"Here comes Tom!" Chris called as I looked over my shoulder to see the black haired man rushing over to us, out of breath but still a smile on his face. "Man, I'm glad to see you! Matthew decided to join us today too." I stared at the two men talking with each other as I glanced to Penelope, Morgan, and Kelly having a conversation of their own.

"What's the matter, Matt?" Dominic questioned, making me realise that he's still here with me. His hand rests inside of mine, warming my cold touch and heating the dead feeling inside of me. I feel like something is off with me being here, with this whole thing. "Aren't you happy that you're finally with us? With Penelope and Morgan and Tom? We missed you so much."

"Yeah, but why am I here?" I slipped my hand out of Dom's as I noticed the sun was setting rather quickly behind the hill. All the laughter ceased and the people around us stared to disappear. I watched Kelly and Chris dissolve into the wind that kicked up dirt and dust into my eyes. Penelope called out to Morgan as she fell into a hole that formed beneath her, causing her husband to race after her. Tom sank to his knees as he stared screaming at the top of his lungs in pain, gripping his head. "Dom! What's going on?!"

"You have to help us!" He called out as I noticed his skin turning red and bubbling. I reached out to grab him but my hands slipped through his arms like he was made of air.

"What?! How?!"

"You have to wake up!" Dominic said placing his hands on my cheeks and leaning in, planting a kiss on my lips. He stepped away and whispered to me, "Wake up."
