[19] ARE YOU JEALOUS?

KURT'S POV

We've been staying here in Palawan for two weeks. Eversince we came here, I always get rid of the gang. Sort of avoidance though. I just want to relax my mind from stress as well as to think over the things I forgot in the past. I badly want to remember anything, perhaps I want to get back to my old life again. If possible though, I would want to recover from my amnesia when Gail returns to Manila. I'm looking forward to that. How I wish Gail would still forgive me so that we can get back together again.

I massaged the side of my head when I felt the usual ache I've been suffering since I got into coma. Here it goes again... my vein's throbbing in pain.

"Sh*t," I muttered under my breath and sat on the high stools here in the kitchen. I rested my head on the counter and closed my eyes. I even took a deep breath, trying to relax my nerves. But sh*tty hell, it's really aching as hell. Sweat dewed on my forehead automatically when something flashed on my mind.

 

"Mamili ka... Ikaw o siya?"

"Me..."

The scene was so blurred that I couldn't even see the face of the guy in my memory. Sunod-sunod na ang paglunok na ginawa ko nang makita ko ang sumunod na nangyari. Gail was crying the hell aloud while I've been knocking down by this f-cking guy. I'm literally covered with my own blood and I couldn't even see the people around me more clearly. Pero iisa lang ang pinagtuunan ko ng tingin, si Gail.

"... HMMM! HMMM!!!!" Gail cried.

"KURT!"

My eyes flew open when I felt somebody tapped my back. Pagtingin ko, si Alex pala. Pinunasan ko ang pawis sa noo ko at napansin ko rin na hingal na hingal ako.

"Ayos ka lang ba?" He asked worriedly. Umupo siya sa katabi kong stool at tinitigan ako. "I saw you sleeping in here. Pero mukhang binabangungot ka. Nakatulog ka ba kagabi?"

I didn't utter a single word. I just looked away and wondered why that memory flashed up my mind. Ito ang unang beses na may naalala ako. What's all about that memory?

"Kurt, nandito tayo para magbakasyon. Matulog ka kung gusto mo."

I sighed and continued wiping my sweat on my forehead. "... M-may napanaginipan lang ako."

His brow formed a straight line. "Ano yun?"

Bakit sa lahat ng maaalala ko ay yung eksena pang yun? How I wish I could remember my happy memories with Gail instead of that.

"Never mind," I shook my head slightly. Saka ko nalang sasabihin sa kanila kapag marami na akong naalala. Hindi pa ako sigurado kung nangyari na ba talaga noon ang nagflash sa isip ko kanina. I just hope that I can still get back to my old memories.

"Okay," he retorted and sipped on his coffee. "Anyway, pupunta kami sa bayan bukas."

"Bakit?"

Since this is a private island, we have to ride on a boat just to get in the city. Maganda naman ang advantage ng pagiging private ng islang ito dahil walang umiistorbo sa amin. Medyo mahina nga lang ang signal ng telecommunication.

"Naubusan ng supply ng pagkain. Sasama ka ba?"

I shrugged my shoulders and stood up, "Sure. Gusto kong mamasyal sa bayan."

 

NATHAN'S POV

Umagang-umaga pa lang pero nasira na ang mood ko. Ugh, pinagsisisihan ko nang sumama ako dito sa hotel nila Lola Almira. Nakanang! Naiinis ako sa sarili ko dahil naiirita ako sa mga nangyayari. Oo, ang labo ko. Intindihin niyo nalang. =_____=
