chapter 22: the village

I jumped into a tree and ran, jumping from tree to tree, leaving the other three to catch up with me. My eyes were focused on the area ahead, not listening to the others. Then, I turned around and crossed my arms. "Hurry up ladies! I want to get there today not next year!" I yelled at them. I could see Narutos face turn red as he sped up, Sasuke glared at me and Raven sped up with no reaction. So far, my favorite is Raven no reactions to my comments. Thats what I like. I slowed down slightly so they could catch up before speeding away again.

I walked into the village, a cold air surrounding me as a harsh wind blew past me. My mind was set on finding Caine, and getting out and going home, after making the deal of course. I didn't like it here, nothing was right, it was silent, and the place was cold.

It was nothing like home.

Naruto gave me an uneasy look before looking at the others. "Lets split into groups of two. Me and Naruto, Raven and Sasuke. Spilt." I said quickly and the two groups dashed away from eachother. This made me wonder, who in their right mind would stay here? It doesn't matter, I need to find him and leave.

Me and Naruto were heading to nearby inns to ask around. I entered one in while Naruto entered another. We asked both in keepers. One said they had someone by that name staying in Narutos in. But, they said he only wanted someone by the name of (Y/n) to enter and nobody else.

"Naruto. Go tell Sasuke and Raven we found him. But I'm  going in alone. If they interfere tell them I won't hesitate to hurt them." I saidnto my best friend. He just nodded and ran off. Then, I went up the stairs to the room and knocked  before entering. The male was reading a book when he looked up at me.

"Oh! Oh! I thought you wouldn't be coming! I'll tell him that your here!" He said excitedly before disappearing into a puff if smoke. After what seemed like forever, he reappeared with someone by his side.

I smiled at him, though I was still wearing the mask. "Hello Lord Orochmaru. A pleasure meeting you again. Though I say the setting could be a little different." I said and smiled at him.

His eyes watched me before I removed the mask to show my face. "Tell me the offer before I leave." I said and gave a sweet smile.

"Straight to the point I see. Thats good. But, back to the topic. I offer you more power, more then you could imagine. That curse mark is only a small part of the power I offer. But, I need a few test subjects, and I want to do research on your clans jutsus. Though, I will need a few of them to do these tests. I also offer you training so you have more powerful jutsus. Might I also add Sasuke will be joining later. This also means you will get your revenge  on the Akatski sooner. What do you say?" He explained before a grin spread across my face.

"I accept. After the chuuin exams. I will be transferred to the hidden sand to be a ninja there and represent my clan. I will get your test subjects then. Until we meet again, Lord Orochmaru." I said and put my mask on again before walking out of the room and leaving him and Caine.

I walked down the stairs and outside to find Sasuke Naruto and Raven waiting for me. "So, whos up for food!" I grinned at them. Naruto looked like a complete idiot with how much he was smiling. Raven just nodded a reply and Sasuke shrugged at me. I grinned and ran off to find some food with them on my tail.

Soon we found a small restaurant. I walked in and smiled before sitting down. Raven sitting across from me. Naruto besude me and across from him was Sasuke. I ordered ramen along with Naruto and Raven. Sasuke ordered rice balls.
