Why the hell am I so sore? Oh wait, I just had a baby, didn't I? I sure hope so. I remember the pain I was in. It was so unbearable. I'm glad it's gone, but like I said, I'm sore now, but I'll take this over that any day. I'm still out of it too. I can hear what sounds like Joe, Andy, and Patrick talking, but I'm not sure if it's them.

"Oh my god," Patrick said quietly as he giggled. "You're going to wake him up if you fucking around like that!"

"Oh shit!" I heard Joe shout, and it sounded like he fell off of something because I heard a loud bang.

I shot straight up in my bed and opened my eyes. I looked over and Patrick was standing by me, Andy was sitting on a chair, and Joe was on the floor next to a metal tray. Well, I was right about Joe falling anyway.

"See?" Patrick asked. "I told you you'd wake him up."

"Sorry," Joe said as he laughed and got up.

"It's fine," I said as I chucked, but then stopped and grabbed my stomach.

"Sore?" Patrick asked as he handed me a glass of water.

"Thanks," I said as I took it. "And more than ever."

"I know the feeling," he said.

"Yeah," I said.

"On the brightside anyway, you'll get to meet your little girl any minute now," Patrick said.

"Really?" I asked as my face lit up.

"Yeah, she's beautiful," he said.

"I second that," Joe said.

"She seems like a perfect little angel," Andy said as he smiled.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"Since she was almost a month early, they took her away just to check her out," Patrick said.

"Oh, good," I said as I sat back on the bed. "And hey, when did you guys find out we were here?"

"Patrick called us while you were resting," Andy said.

"Yeah, we rushed right over," Joe said.

"I see," I said as I smiled.

"You're still really tired," Patrick said. "Aren't you?"

"I think that's an understatement," I said.

"Here, why don't Joe and I go crash in the waiting room for a little bit and let you rest?" Andy suggested as he stood up and grabbed him jacket.

"Good idea!" Joe said as he got up as well.

I smiled at them as they walked out of the room and then I turned to Patrick. He was looking at his phone, but then put it away and smiled back at me. He went over and grabbed a chair and set it next to my bed and then sat down. He grabbed my hand in his and smiled at me again.

"You did good, baby," he said.

"I couldn't have done it without you," I said. "If you weren't there for me, god, I'd probably be dead."

"Alright," Patrick said as he laughed. "Well, I'm glad you're not."

"Me too," I said as I smiled. "Thanks for staying with me all these years, even through all of my bullshit."

"I love you to death," Patrick said. "There's no way in hell I'm ever leaving you. I know we'll have our little fights like we did before, but Pete, I will always love you."

"Dude, don't make me cry," I said as I chuckled lightly and wiped a tear from my eye.

"Aww, baby," he said as he stood up, hugged me, and then kissed me.

I hugged him back tighty, never wanting to let him go. Patrick is truly one of a kind. He's pretty much the only person on this planet that gets me. I'd be nowhere without him. We're a two-man gang and we always will be. There's no one like him. There's no one that could ever live up to how perfect and amazing he is. How I deserve him, I'll never know, but I have him and I love him and that's all that matters to me.
