Two. Hours. It took the three of them two entire hours to lug all his stuff into his room and put it all away. The room was simple, a small living space with a sofa, a very tiny kitchen with am oven, microwave, and a fridge with a small amount of counter space and two bedrooms blocked off from the living area, the two bed rooms each had a bed, three shelves as well as a closet and a desk. The three ended up setting up all Dans' stuff and they had not seen who his roommate was.
On the opposite side of the living space was a door that led into a mini locker room style bathroom just without the lockers. There were two stalls each with a shower, and a single stall with a toilet, on the opposite side of the bathroom was another door.
"Why is there a door?" Dan asked motioning towards the wooden door opposite him.
"Oh, you share a bathroom with the neighboring cabin." Caitlin looked at him confused before realizing what he meant before she responded.
The door to the cabin opened causing the trio to turn to see a teenager with a light brown quiff and geeky looking black glasses.
"Oh hello!" He said cheerfully.
"Uh...hi..." Dan greeted as the two females stayed silent.
"Caitlin girl how have you been!" He exclaimed wrapping Caitlin around in a hug as the the two stared at them.
"Hey Tyler..." She answered hesitantly, but with a smile on her face.
"So Tyler, is this your room?"
"Yep,"
"Okay, this is Dan, he's your roommate for the summer, and this is Lilith, she's one of my best friends, Lilith and Dan, this is Tyler," Caitlin introduced as Dan looked fairly uncomfortable with a new person and Lilith stared blankly as she waved slightly.
"Relax Dan, any friend of Caitlin's is a friend of mine!" Tyler exclaimed as he walked into the kitchen while Lilith and Dan looked at Caitlin asking for the missing piece of the story.
"He goes to camp every year too..." Was her only response as she walked through the door.
"If you need anything don't be afraid to call," Lilith told Dan before walking out the door and closing it behind her.
"So Dan, what caused you to come to camp this year?" Tyler asked
"To be honest, Liliths' brothers broken foot," Dan responded nonchalantly. Tyler started at the brunette with blank expression.
"What the hell?" Tyler laughed
"Liliths brother was suppose to go but he broke his foot so I got the extra ticket..." Dan shrugged still standing awkwardly in the room with the other man while Dan wore flower crowns and pastel.
"Tyler?" A familiar voice questioned from the adjacent room.
"I'm at my place," Tyler responded which lead to the door creaking open and a tall slim, black and blue haired teenager with tattoos and piercings stood.
"Lester?!" Dan exclaimed covering his mouth.
"Howell?!" Phil stared in shock as they yelled in unison.
"You guys already know each other?" Tyler questioned looking at the two teens who kept exchanging glances that switched between fear, shock, enjoyment, and a bit of happiness.
"Y-yeah..." Dan spluttered out his face turning red, nausea turning in his stomach as the familiar burning feeling traveled in his throat, he didn't projectile vomit, but he sure felt like it.
"Oh that's fun! Are you guys friends?" Tyler kept asking questions as he sat on the sofa, Phil quietly following in awkward silence as he sat beside Tyler.
"You can sit here Dan," Phil said looking up at him, his bright blue eyes staring into Dans chocolate brown ones.
"I'm alright," Dan let out a sigh as he made it over to his bedroom as he flopped on the bed.
"This is going to be a long trip..." Dan muttered as the feeling of wanting to go home grew. But Dan was determined, he was going to last the summer. Even if that meant dealing with Phil Lester.
A/N: Sorry it's another short and crappy chapter but it's very late, it's been a long days and I ate very little today. So don't yell at me...
GUYS AN UPDATE THE DAY AFTER I UPDATE WHAT IS THIS SORCERY? Well, you all can thank one of my best friends Caitlin for that. We met a few months ago because of a pastel!Dan and Punk!Phil fanfic, I sent her a very, very, VERY cringey message and now we're best friends and we text everyday, without her my life would have a hole and I'm immensely happy we became friends. We've laughed, cried, fangirled, and have had deep conversations as well as very light hearted ones. Since she lives across the country I can't give her an actual gift so hopefully this update is good enough until we meet in real life.
