Change of Hearts

Final

We didn't go to Cainta immediately since Tita Mozzy had an urgent meet-up with one of Kiefer's endorsement team. I took it as a chance to go back to our dorm, prepare myself. When I was about to go back and meet her, I saw ThirB sitting on my bed. I smiled and got him. I took a deep breath when I went outside our door.

There's no turning back now.

Cainta, 9PM

It is only when I saw their familiar gate that I felt the hesitation. Am I really doing this? Am I really choosing this? What am I going to say to him? Hundreds of thoughts are running inside my head, I felt a knot in my stomach, and my palms are slightly shaking. But when I saw Tita Mozzy looking at me and smiling, I felt better.

I slowly walked with her towards their door. I can already hear Kiefer and Dani teasing each other and the sounds of their dogs. When we are finally inside, everything went silent. Even the dogs. I saw Kiefer, Dani, Tito Bong, their maid, and Ly looking at me like I'm some kind of a ghost from their past. Tita Mozzy laughed while touching my arm.

"Ano ba kayo, para naman kayong nakakita ng multo." she said. Slowly, they flashed their knowing smiles at me, and Ly run to me and hugged me.

"Bae-a...why are you here?" she asked.

I smiled at her and said, "I'm choosing to be happy."

"Oh my god! Really? Really? Oh my god, wait I don't know what to say!" she even jumped around.

"Babe, wag ka maingay." Kiefer stopped her, and then he looked at me. "Hi Bea!"

"Hi Kief!"

I went to them and gave Kiefer a side hug. Dani is just staring at me. I hesitated but I waved at her. "Hi Dani!"

Lo and behold, the youngest Ravena went to me and gave me one of the tightest hugs ever. "Shit, shit, shit. I feel really blessed, we have to take a selfie Ate Bea idol ka ng mga team mates ko. Omg they will get mad at me but I don't care!" she said while holding up a phone infront of us. I smiled at the camera.

"Wait, bat di ako kasali. Di ba Dani idol din ako ng team mates mo?" Ly joked. We laughed as she went beside me. The three of us took a selfie. Suddenly, Dani run to Tita Mozzy and kissed her, then to Tito Bong and she hugged him.

"Mama, papa, thank you for bringing me into this world and giving me two brothers because of it I got to see my idols. I'm so blessed." she said. Everyone of us laughed as she even kneeled in front of their mini altar.

"Wow Dani ha, so minor roles lang kami ni Thirdy sa pagiging blessed mo ganon?" Kiefer said.

"Oo naman! Instrument lang kayo sa real blessings ko."

I smiled at they continue their banter. Then, I felt a tap on my shoulder, when I turned around I saw Tito Bong. I politely shook his hand.

"Hello po Mr. Ravena.."

"Naku, ba't naman Mr. Ravena, tatlo kami dito. Tito Bong nalang, Bea. O kaya Tito Pogi." he even winked at me.

"Tito Pogi.." I repeated while I'm smiling.

"Hoy Bong ano ba naman yan, nakakahiya kay Bea umaandar na naman kahanginan mo," Tita Mozzy said while rolling her eyes. "Nako Bea, pagpasensyahan mo na yan ha. D'yan nagmana si Kiefer at Thirdy eh.." she explained.

"Uhm..si Thirdy po?" I suddenly asked. Again, there was a short silence.

"Nandoon sa kwarto, Bea. Sabi n'ya matutulog na daw sya eh. Ilang araw na s'yang gan'yan." Kiefer said. I looked at Tita Mozzy and Tito Bong, silently asking for permission. They smiled at me while nodding.
