"Skylar, why don't you just give up running? You must be tired," Crowley says sarcastically.
"Nope, but thanks for your concern," she says, venom in her voice.
"Well, no matter... you're time is up. You owe me," his smirk turning into a serious face.
"I'm not afraid of dying Crowley."
"Dying? Who said anything about dying? I just want your soul."
Skylar raises her eyebrows at him. "Wouldn't it kill me if you take my soul?"
"No," Sam says solemnly.
"Technically it won't kill you, you're still alive but... you're just kind of there... In my opinion, it'd be better to die," Dean explains.
"Fun," Skylar says sarcastically.
"This might hurt." Crowley grabs Skylar's arm but starts crying out in pain. "What th-- Aagghhhh!" He falls to his knees covering his ears. "I didn't know! I swear, I didn't know!" He gasps for breath, and slowly recovers.
"Is that normally part of the soul removing process?" Skylar asks, confused.
Both Winchester brothers shake their heads, and look in suprise at Crowley and Skylar.
"This isn't over," Crowley says disappearing.
"Um... bye," she says with even more confusion in her voice.
"What the hell just happened?" Dean asks.
"Beats me," Sam replies.
Skylar turns around to see Azazel staring at her, a vicious smile on his face. "If you're powerful enough to do that, you could make a very good host..." he says.
"You might not want to do that," Sky answers calmly.
"And why not?"
"You saw what happend to Crowley. You really wanna take that risk?" she says with a confident tone.
Azazel's smile instantly fades. "Well. If you insist on staying human..." He looks past her at the Winchesters. "Would you mind stepping out of the way?"
"Yes," she says.
"Then I guess I'll be seeing you boys later."
Sam flinches and Dean takes a step towards the demon, as he too dissappears.
"Well, that was weird," Skylar comments. She walks out of the house and to her truck. Dean and Sam walk to the Impala and follow Skylar back to the motel.
'
When they reach the motel, Skylar walks to the courtyard and pulls out a pack of cigarettes. The boys walk over to her and sit down at the picnic table.
"I don't think we were ever formally introduced. I'm Sam, Sam Winchester, and this is my brother Dean," Sam says, extending his arm towards her for a handshake. Dean grunts.
"Skylar Carlisle," Skylar replies shaking his hand.
"Ya' know smokin' is bad for you," Dean looks to her.
Skylar slowly exhales, blowing a long stream of smoke out of her mouth, then smirks at Dean.
"Shouldn't you be in school kid?" he continues.
"Dean, right?" Sky says, finally turning to him. "It's nice to put a name to the asinine comments."
Sam snorts at her comment as Dean rolls his eyes.
