Jealousy

It was almost midnight when you heard your front door open and close. You were sat on the sofa waiting for your girlfriend Lauren to get home from one of her club appearances and jealousy was raging through your veins.

Whilst waiting for her, you had been on your twitter to see a picture of her leaving the club about 20 minutes ago with an attractive man. So when Lauren entered the house, you walked to meet her at the front door.

"Oh hi babe!" She exclaimed, opening her arms wide as you would normally greet her with a hug. However you stood there with a pissed expression.

"Don't 'Hi babe' me."

"Y/n?" She asked with a confused tone. "Oh, uhm shit, sorry i'm so late, the girls told me to stay and they stayed but I came hom-" she rambled.

"It's not about the fcking time Lauren."

She stopped talking and looked to you with an adorably confused expression. "Babe, you're going to have to explain..."

You folded your arms in front of you, "So I take you haven't seen the photo's all over social media?!"

"What pictures?"

You opened the twitter app on your phone, clicked on the picture of her and Zayn before thrusting it in her face.

She stared at the phone and then put her hand on the back of her neck sheepishly. "Oh, that."

"YES! That!"

At your stern tone, she started to giggle and you looked at her as if she had two heads.

You continued to stare at your girlfriend and threw your arms up in the air.

"Are you seriously laughing at me right now? Are you fxking kidding me Lauren?!"

"You think something's going on between me and him?" You heard her question, making you even angrier.

"Well he's not picking f*cking daisies is he Lauren?! The pair of you are clearly leaving the club together!" You raged, your voice starting to tremble and your eyes watering. The girl standing in front of you meant everything and more.

She moved closer to you and put her hands on each side of your face, instantly calming you down. "Zayn's gay baby."

At her words, you instantly fell silent and had wide eyes at what she had just told you.

"Oh." You stuttered, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks from embarrassment.

"He didn't want me to walk by myself, so he was walking me to the taxi."

With that you moved out of her grasp and rushed up the stairs to your room, feeling so bad for shouting at her.

You were sat on the bed, when you heard the door slowly open, making you look up to see the brunette standing there.

"Y/n?" She said quietly, moving to sit with you on the bed.

"I'm sorry Lauren."..."I feel so stupid." You said quietly.

"Hey! You're not stupid!"..."It's cute when you get jealous..." She reassured with her little giggle, wrapping her arms around your shoulder.

Resting your head against her shoulder, she lifted your chin so that she could place a tender kiss against your lips.

"It's just that I care about you so much and the thought of losing you to someone els-" you spoke, your voice breaking as your eyes watered.

"Awh princess." She cooed, pulling you even closer and holding you in her arms. "I only have eyes for you princess, don't you forget that."
