"Jax? honey, are you ready to go?" You asked your teen son from the bottom of the stairway.

"Yep ma, one second, just grabbing my phone charger."

"Okay" You replied, and then Lauren wrapped her arms around your waist from behind.

"I hope he realizes there is no WiFi at the lake house babe." Your wife joked, and you immediately turned in her arms, putting your finger on her lip.

"Shh babe, don't be telling him that, he will want to stay home." You told her with a giggle, and she started to laugh too.

"True."..."I packed all the things in the car, just the food to put in now."

Just as you were about to lean in for a kiss, you heard your four year old's voice. "Mommy!"..."Momma!"

He came running to you both, and you lifted him into your arms. "Hi little man!"

You felt his little hands on either side of your face, as he looked to you with a grin. "Can we go yet mommy?!"

"Is someone excited?" Lauren asked, chuckling as he bounced on your hip.

As he vigorously nodded his head, you then heard the door bell.

"That will be Camila, I'll get the door, do you want to put the food in the car?" Laur asked and you nodded in reply.

She kissed your cheek and then turned to greet her best friend, and you walked into the kitchen with Elijah.

Just as you walked into the kitchen, Jaxson entered the room.

"All ready ma." He told you, and you placed Eli down on the ground carefully.

"Okay darling, please can you take your brother and go get in the car?" You asked.

Jaxson nodded, and put his rucksack on his back before extending his hand out to your youngest. "Come on bro, let's get in the car."

Elijah instantly looked up to his sibling, realized that it meant you were closer to leaving and took his hand. "YAAAY!"

Lauren answered the door with a smile, to see her bestie. "Hi Camz."

Camila grinned, and lifted one of her many bags into her arms. "Hey, ready for the summer trip of a lifetime?!"

Your wife giggled at her excitement, shaking her head. "Have you packed your whole house into those bags?"

"Funny Jauregui, you know I like to be prepared. Now, how we doing this? Shall I take my car?"

"Nope, it's fine, there's enough room in my SUV."

"Cool, where's the munchkins and your beautiful wife?" Camila asked with a smile.

"Y/n's just loading the food into the car, and the kids are sat inside I think."..."come on, we'll head to the garage." Lauren replied, taking one of the many bags from her friend and leading her into your home.

*With the kids*

"I SO EXCITED JAX!"..."Momma said we can see fishies in the water!" Your 4 year old son squealed with wide eyes, and Jaxson chuckled.

"Alright kiddo, you're gonna make your eyes pop out of their sockets." He joked, and Elijah giggled.

Jaxson smiled at his little brother, then secured his own seat belt after making sure Elijah's was fastened.

Just as they got fastened in, they were greeted by their aunt, as Lauren was helping pack the food away.

"Got room for a little one?" Camila spoke, and your youngest son immediately turned his attention to her.

"YAY! Hi aunt Cam Cam!" Your four year old shouted, patting the empty seat next to him.

"Hi Aunt Mila." Jaxson greeted from the back of the car.

"Hi dudes, are you excited for the trip?"

Jaxson laughed as Elijah nodded his head quickly, with his signature grin. "SO HAPPY!"

Just as he was squealing in excitement, you packed the last of the cool bags into the trunk and your wife was close behind. You jumped into the passenger seat, as she headed for the opposite side.

"We're all ready guys, now I don't think the journey should take too long." You spoke, fastening your seat belt and watching as your wife got into the drivers seat.

"I got sweeties." You heard Camila whisper and you shook your head giggling.

"You deal with the sugar rush Cabello." Lauren interjected, laughing at Elijah as he jumped around in his seat.

Then he had a confused expression on his face. "Where aunt DJ? Or aunt Ally? Or aunt Mani?"

You turned in your seat to explain, "They are going together in Auntie Ally's car, they are meeting us at the lake house."

"Anddd Aunt Mila is coming with us." Lauren added.

"Yaaay! Aunt Meeeels!"

"Roadtrippppp!" Camila squealed, fist pumping the air.

"I swear she's one of the kids." Your wife joked, as you all laughed at the younger Cuban.

"Mommy? Are we there yet?"

"We haven't set off yet little man."

With that, your wife turned the engine on and set off out of the driveway. She reached for your hand over the console, and then your little boy's voice could be heard again.

"Momma?"

"Yeah buddy?" Lauren replied, looking to him through her rear view mirror.

"Are we there yet?"
