"Everything okay?" Lauren asked, pulling you out of your thoughts.

You were both standing in the hallway in each others embrace, your parents had gone to make some food, Chris was carrying Lauren's things upstairs and Taylor had disappeared too.

"Yep, uhm, when you have a minute can we talk?" You asked and she gave you a smile.

"Sure, everything good?"

You nodded in response, not wanting to worry her and then ran your hands through your hair.

"I love your new hair cut by the way, it really suits you." She complimented, making a grin form on your face.

"Thanks Lo." You replied, with more gratitude than she realised at this time.

"That's okay."..."now I gotta take a shower because I stink." She whined, making you laugh.

You nudged her shoulder, "you do kinda smell." You joked and she went to hit the back of your head.

"Cheeky little shit!"..."Right, 10 minutes and i'm all yours."

Half an hour later, you were sat on Lauren's bed as she dried her hair. She turned off the loud machine and looked to you with a smile.

"Okay, all yours. Soooo, what did you wanna talk about y/n, everything okay?"

As she asked the question, you could feel the anxiety course through your veins.

You had planned of how to tell her but now the time had come, you just froze on the spot.

Your sister instantly noticed your nervous demeanour, she shuffled closer and placed her hand on your shoulder in reassurance.

"You're anxious." Was all that she whispered, "hey, it's okay, whatever it is you can tell me."

After finally getting your thoughts together you just opened your mouth and started to explain.

"Lauren, i'm not y/n anymore..."

The singer remained silent and tilted her head, looking to you with confusion. So you continued to ramble.

"I'm not a girl. I'm not happy as a girl."..."i'm transgender, I am a boy..." you said in a voice just above a whisper.

With everyone else that you had told, you could read their emotions straight off the bat. However, Lauren was acting a lot more reserved. This made you even more nervous.

"Lo, ple-please say somethi-"

"When were you going to tell me?" Was all that she said.

You looked to her with confusion, then saw the hurt in her eyes.

"Laur-"

"When were you going to tell me this huge news?"..."I assume that you didn't just make this decision yesterday..."..."we're family..." she said, her voice breaking at the end, almost as if she was holding back tears.

You looked to her, now you feeling confused. "I-i th-thought you'd und-understand."..."t-thought you woul-would accep-"

However she interjected, putting her hand on your shoulder and then speaking more reassuringly. "It's not that I don't understand the whole trans thing."..."don't think that, I want you to be happy."..."i'm kinda disappointed that you didn't tell me sooner though..."

You looked to the floor, tears welling in your eyes. You thought that telling her now would be the best thing. "You we-were on tour..." You tried, but the room fell silent.

The pair of you sighed, not really knowing what else to say. So, with that, you decided that you needed some time to yourself. This hadn't really gone how you had planned, it had taken you by surprise.

You stood from her bed, but then felt her hand on your arm. "Don't go." She whispered, wanting to be there for her younger sibling.

You shook your head but gave her a soft smile, you were family after all. "I just need time alone..."
