"Nothing to see here dyk-"
The brunette was now fuming at his words, so she jumped between you and the man. "Do not ever touch or speak to another woman like that again! Especially not this beautiful woman! Got it?!" She spat, protecting you behind her body.
You felt so safe, but you didn't want this attention. Plus, both Lauren and the guy would get into immense trouble if things got violent. You were still kind of shaken up and you had only known Lauren for an hour, but you placed your hand on her shoulder.
"Laur, i'm okay." You mumbled and her tensed body relaxed beneath your touch. She turned her attention to you, giving you a reassuring smile.
Then, you noticed Ashlee approaching with a confused expression. Rightly so, as you were standing behind Lauren and she was now face to face with the male passenger. Your hand was on her shoulder as she glared at the man.
"Y/n, everything okay here?" Your friend asked, looking between the three of you and the other intrigued flyers.
You nodded slowly, not wanting to cause any unnecessary drama when you could just report the guy once the plane had landed. Lauren shot a look to the man and he looked to you.
"I am sorry for my actions" He apologized and you nodded.
Lauren turned back to you, giving you a soft smile and your friend was called to another passengers needs.
With that, you turned away from the obnoxious man and placed your hand on Lauren's arm. "Thank you for that. Thank's for defending me." You said gratefully as she returned to her seat.
"Don't worry about it y/n."..."It made me so mad to see that, but it's all sorted now."..."You should definitely report him." She replied and you nodded in understanding. "You have a pretty name by the way."

A few minutes later, after the adrenaline had subsided, anxiety started to kick in regarding the whole situation. You had been an air steward for nearly two years, and yeah men would share their opinions. However, you had never been physically assaulted like you had just been.
You tried to remain calm and forget about it, however, his actions had taken you by surprise. Therefore, you were feeling pretty shaken up and uncomfortable. You smoothed down your uniform and looked around at the passengers, most of them were sleeping or occupied on their phones.
However, when you looked to Lauren, she had a worried expression on her face. "You okay?" She mouthed silently, and you felt the tears well up in your eyes.
Your emotions were now running high and you turned on your heels, desperately trying to find somewhere to calm down. You headed to the aircraft toilet.
The brunette noticed your demeanor and slowly stood from her seat as you walked into the small toilet. You were now shaking even more, resting your head in your hands as you started to cry.
*******
"On-one mi-minute." You stuttered when you heard a soft knock at the door.
"Y/n, it's me..." Came the familiar voice and you tried to control your breathing. "Are you okay?" She asked and you moved your hand to the handle.
You opened the door slowly and were met by her emerald gaze. She could tell that you had been crying and tilted her head to the side.
Luckily, the toilet area was pretty secluded, so none of the other passengers/crew could see. Lauren slowly lifted her hand and placed it gently on the side of your face.
"I panicked." You whispered, a stray tear falling from your eyes.
The brunette nodded in understanding and you ushered her into the toilet, locking the door behind you both.
"H-he sca-scared me." You started to sob, breaking down in the small space.
Even though you had only known the woman for a small amount of time, Lauren immediately pulled you into her embrace.
"Hey, hey it's okay, you're safe now." She reassured, gently rubbing your back as she held you.
You felt like you had known the woman for years, as you practically melted in her arms. "Than-thanks." You mumbled into her shoulder as she was now playing with the ends of your hair.
"That's okay."..."Now come on, a woman as beautiful as you should not be getting upset over a loser like him." She cooed, making you slightly giggle through your cries.
"There we go." She added, as you lifted your head from her shoulder.
You briefly turned your attention to your reflection in the mirror. Your eye makeup had slightly run down your cheeks however you turned back to Lauren.
She placed her hands on either side of your face and gently wiped her thumbs beneath your eyes, effectively ridding of the tear streaks.
"There we go pretty."
*******
"Thankyou again." You whispered, moving to plant a kiss against her cheek.
Not expecting the kiss, Lauren turned her head to look at you, and you pressed your lips against hers.
"Sh*t, i'm sorry!" You gasped, immediately jumping back, but she giggled.
With that, she snaked her arms around your waist and pulled you into her embrace.
"That's okay." She murmured then pressed her lips back against yours.
