Natsu's P.O.V.

"Are you ok?" I asked, feeling concerned. Maybe it was my imagination but I thought I saw Luce looked a little scared before giving me a nod and a small smile.

Her smile... it wasn't like the other one. It was almost distant as if she wasn't their. It was the same smile that Mom gave me when I asked when Dad would come back.

What's wrong Luce?

Lucy's P.O.V.

Is he actually my friend? No he might be playing a trick on me. No one would love a loser like me. But the question is should I let him have his pleasure. (For the dirty minded people out their when I say pleasure I mean like with hurting me physically or mentally not something perverted!)

What if he's not pranking me though? No Lucy don't think about that. At most he's nice and I'm just taking advantage of him. I-I'm taking advantage of Natsu... I shouldn't do that.

I won't ask for anything or do things like eat his lunch just because Natsu is nice. It's only pity... and Natsu deserves more.

I dazed out for a bit, but Natsu seemed to be dazing off as well so I lightly tapped him and pointed down the hallway. I can't let him be late. But I'm the one who made a chance that he could be late. See if he's late its going to be my fault. I'm just a burden.

"Oh right! Lets go luce!" Natu said grabbing my arm 'dragging' me to class. I kept trying to keep up with him, and we soon matched pace.

Natsu's P.O.V.

I guess I dazed out thinking about Lucy's response to my question and if there really was something wrong with her. Luckly Luce tapped me delicately on the shoulder so we weren't late.

I ignored how I was slightly surprised when she tapped me. Luce doesn't seem to be someone who would exert herself into situations.

I grabbed her hand and ran to class. We were almost late.
