Chapter 16

Lucy's P.O.V.
It was monday. We headed in ready to present are projects but the teacher said that he is changing the date.

He's never done this before. Weird...

Lissana's P.O.V.
I'm so happy are idiot teacher and my parents are friends. I'm so close to finding dirt on that Lucy girl.

Just one more day *evil laughter.*

Lucy's P.O.V.
Class just finished so I headed outside where Natsu stood.

I had so much fun with Natsu recently I forgot about the whole 'I'm gunna hurt him' and 'I gotta stay away' thing.

That damn Natsu. "Hey Luce! Guess what? Ice Princess was complaining the whole class about he had to wait to go through the torture of talking about me. Talk about the worst partner!"

I couldn't help but giggle. This made Natsu surprised before he smiled back.

"Alright Luce, let me walk you to your next class." He grabbed my hand going into a full on sprint, dodging people in the halls.

I can feel the stares on my back but people don't bully me when Natsu's around.

After we reach my class we waved are goodbyes and I headed in.

Levy is the only one of Natsu's friends in my class.

She was thought of a nerd because of the glasses, lack of sports skill, not to mention being one of the top students.

Because of this some people make fun of her. So when I walked into the classroom I was not surprised by the the group of people surrounding her. It was two girls and a guy.

 The classroom was empty so the teacher wasn't here.

Levy was cornered, and the one in the middle, Minerva had scissors in her hand. 

I ran pushing them to the side to make sure Levy was alright. She was scared and shaking on the floor with a tear streamed face. A few bruises littered her face but she was fine.

Once she saw me she yelled "Lu-Chan!" hugging me. I sealed down to her level wiping the tears off her face. 

"Don't worry Levy, it's okay. Everything will be fine. I'll handle this. You run. Your no help here, go get somebody." I kept my voice low so the others wouldn't here me speak.

I knew I was harsh about her not being help but I could tell how much she wanted to stay. She reluctantly stood up before sprinting away. I can't protect her from these people so I'm glad she got away.

"Ha one bitch traded with another bitch! I bet this one will be more fun to cut sense no one can hear her scream!" Minerva said laughing to herself.

I stood up against the wall and closed my eyes preparing myself for whats to come. "Oh that's it!" Minerva said before slashing me in the stomach with her pair of scissors. The cut wasn't deep but it hurt like a bitch.

I tried my best to be still as if nothing happen which seemed to annoy her even more. She forcefully grabbed my arm making slits, one after another. 

She then stuck it deep in my thigh, digging it in slowly dragging it around. 

"Feel that pain you piece of shit!" She said pulling the knife out. The guy next to her then slapped me in the face with such force that I fell to the ground. 

They all took turns kicking me. All I could feel was pain. At least I didn't scream, yet. 

Minerva grabbed me by my shirt lifting me up to her face. Before she had the time to say something I spat in her face making her drop me.

She acted overly disgusted and angered wiping her face. It might have been rude and I usually try to be nice but I enjoyed that. 

Minerva glared at me, took one of her heels and stepped on my ankle. Wiggling it around she applied more force. Tears sprang to my eyes making her smile in victory. 

She then stomped on it a few times before the door opened. 

The group ran out the door at the speed of light. I turn my head to see a teacher run after them and a crying Levy.

 I slowly pushed my bloody self up and started walking to her but when I stepped on my foot that minerva hurt pain shot through my body and I fell over.

Levy came back to her senses and ran up to me. "Lu-chan I'm so sorry! This is all my fault!" 

I pushed myself up to sitting position resting a hand on her shoulder. "I-It's not your fault. If you stayed like that the t-teacher would have came later and I would be more beat up, so would you." 

Levy wiped her tears and nodded. She then wrapped my arm around her and helped me to the nurse, I was bending over a bit because (no offense Levy) she is kind of short. 

Levy set me down on a bed in the nurse's office and ran to Gajeel's locker (which she somehow knew the combination to) to get an extra sweatshirt that he had.

The nurse didn't seem too surprised that I was here sense I was sent there a lot. She fixed my wounds wrapping them up. My foot hurt a lot. 

The nurse didn't really pay attention to my scars which were covered by the blood and bruises from new wounds which she thought were all from the recent beating.

After finishing Levy came back with Gajeel's sweatshirt and a pair of leggings from her locker. I thanked her putting them on. I changed in the bathroom next to the nurses office so no one saw.

I stayed in the nurses office until it was lunch time. Levy did too. We talked about a lot during that time.

Apparently Levy's parents travel a lot so she is living with her cousins Jet and Droy which we didn't see during the sleepover. Levy said that they are nice but can be annoying sense they are really overprotective.

She also told be a lot about the books she read. The same goes for me. I told her about a novel I'm writing which she immediately asked to read. We made a deal that she would be the first to read it when I finished.

Are conversation continued until it was time from lunch. Levy offered to help me walk but I declined. I didn't want to attract unnecessary attention so I just dealt with the pain.

I was going to walk to the tree where I eat lunch but Levy brought me to the Lunch room over to a table where Natsu, Juvia, Gray, Erza, Gajeel, and Jellal were sitting.

Levy went around to the other side of the table to sit next to Gajeel so I took a seat next to Natsu.
