Author-chan here... sorry for the last chapter. I told you how stuff was already written in this notebook I have from awhile ago but the reason why I was apologizing for feeling evil at the time is I added that detail of her slowly drowning and made it a chapter. Anyways here is the next update... but first question of the day.
What is your zodiac sign? I'm a taurus.
Okay, back to chapter...
(around or so 3 minutes sense the girls pushed Lucy in) (by the way I was looking up and struggling can only occur from 20 to 60 seconds after so the part where Lucy finished struggling was around that time)
Aquarius's P.O.V.
I came into the indoor pool ready to yell at my incompetent students and teach those brats something actually useful. I was confused as to why I fond girls giggling and pointing at the deep end of the pool area.
When they noticed me, the stopped and whispered. Something's up. I headed over quickly where I saw a student under water. 'Shit! Seriously? Kids these days!' I thought diving into the water.
I quickly pulled the student up to the side of the pool. It was Lucy! I checked her pulse. 'It's slow.' I then put my hand over her mouth to see that not much air was coming out. I started chest compressions. Pressing both hands on her chest, I pushed up and down.
Lifting her chin with two fingers and pinching her nose I ready myself to start giving rescue breaths but she coughed up water. I smiled relieved, before realizing my actions and quickly went back to my impassive face.
Students were now heading toward the building. I put my hand on Lucy's upper back and pulled her up to sitting position. Her sweater was wet, revealing how pretty her body was. It was also draping showing a bit of her scars.
(Quick thing. I know this is a weird thing for an author to do because it is random and not that important but I looked up pictures of wet sweaters sense not many people have seen what it's like so... I guess I am giving examples of what it does.)
Ya.. sorry... I'm done. )
Her wet sleeves went a little beyond her wrists... I shouldn't be saying this but she looked kind of adorable. I heard someone call out her name. I turn around to see that guy Natsu. Most of the students were heading towards the door into the pool by now.
Natsu sprints towards her. 'He's that popular guy. I swear if he thinks he can hurt her when I'm here-' He surprised me by wrapping his arms around her with no hesitation, not caring about how he was now getting soaked. (Natsu put a t-shirt on and is wearing swim trunks because it would be kind of weird sense they stretch first. (Stretching is something that is actually kind of important for swimming. (I think... haven't been on the swim team in awhile..)).
'So that's how he is, huh?' They look kind of cute together. Of course not as cute as Scorpio and I. And I always made fun of her for not having a boyfriend... not that I'm going to stop. I knew Lucy although the other students didn't know are relationship went beyond teacher and student.
Layla, her mother, and I were friends. She gets on my nerves but I still come to help her when she needs it. Layla asked for me to take care of her when Lucy needs to be taken care of before she died.
I smiled and looked at her. She looked over at me and gave me a genuine smile, surprising me. I hadn't seen that in awhile. I noticed how Natsu might see the scars, among other things, so I yelled at him to stop being a brat and leave because I had to deal with this. He seemed to understand saying how he would come see Lucy when I was done. 'Idiots. All of them.'
I take her to my office looking through my purse and then pulled out a pocket mirror. She seemed underly confused. It only had one use so it was simple for her to figure out I wanted her to look at her self.
Lucy held it up to her face, a small gasp escaping her lips. I smiled, even if it was the wrong moment. Lucy didn't seem to notice a sound actually came from her voice but I was glad to hear it.
"I-I" Inturupting her sentence because she never is going to get anything out I held her hands. Again, I did appreciate hearing her voice, and it seemed she thought nothing of it. Maybe she's talking more? Still I knew they way it was she was never going to get anything out. It seemed to get her attention as she looked up.
"You know what I'm going to ask Lucy. But before that know that you will hurt me if I watch this happen and do nothing. Also, Lucy it isn't just your bruises showing on your face. I can see some scars Lucy. This is serious."
"I-If I tell y-you, your gunna get hurt! I can't let t-that happen!" Lucy said, voice booming compared to the quietness of her earlier voice.
"I don't care about that!" I yelled trying to prove my point. Lucy seemed a little shocked by either my voice or concern, I couldn't decide. Quickly saying "I can't," Lucy sprinted out before anything else could be added. 'Well shit.'
