Lucy's P.O.V.
"Get up and start walking." The man said. His voice is really demeaning. That and his aggressive attitude really wasn't helping me feel any better about the situation I was currently in. Life had dealt me a pretty bad hand, one I definitely blamed myself for until recently, but this was interlay different.
I knew deep down my dad hated me. I mean he literally said it all the time. Not to mention the hitting. Still, I guess I held onto that hope that he secretly didn't feel that way. That maybe he was just a really broken man. Or maybe that he hated me but still had some compassion left. That's why knowing that he actually sold me hurts, not to mention he's already pretty rich.
So there's that, but I've also been kidnapped. Sure, no big deal, except I could actually die, or at the very least never see Natsu again, who may I remind you, I have yet to apologize to.
So yah... I'd say this definitely could rank on a list of my top worst moments.
"I said move your feet!" The guy yelled kicking me to the ground. I got up and did what he said thinking back to the tv shows I've watched. I have had a very limited time with television sense mother died for obvious reasons, but I have watched some crime television.
I can tell you that in the crime tv shows I've seen like Criminal Minds or something, the girl kidnapped is usually sobbing by now only thinking about her life and kidnapper. Me, I get lost in thought like I do during class, or in a boring conversation. Not that I have many conversations... I just think it's all some sick joke.
So.... Where am I? It's not like I could recognize the woods I was in unless it was the one close by my house that I spent time in when I was little, and this definitely wasn't it. I'm not like Sherlock either, I can't recognize the area by some special plant or animal or terrain or whatever. All I can say is I'm in the woods.
What is kind of weird is that we aren't walking on a pathway. There was a giant path for the car (whatever you call it because it's not exactly the road), but it just stops. There isn't any paths to walk on, we are just walking.
Especially when there are paths for cars, when it stops there are paths to walk on. Otherwise it should continue throughout the woods or to a home or something. So that's weird.
The only thing I could think of is for concealment of the location, meaning that only certain people know where It is. That's why I paid extra focus to where I was going.
We finally got to this shed. Instead of going in it though we go behind and to the side of it where there is this cave looking thing in a hill, with a broken metal fence in the front. It looked as if it hadn't been used in years.
I followed the mans orders and went down. Yes, down. Apparently it was some old thingy. I know Lucy, very descriptive. It kind of looked like an old jail. I walked to the end and was put inside of one. After being locked in it he immediately left not answering my questions of what I was doing here.
Based on how crazy this all is, either the one man who I just met is doing everything and is really smart, or there were multiple people doing... whatever this is.
The lighting was very dim so it was hard to see into the other cells. In my own the bars were rusted, there floors were stone and there was... dried blood on the floor. It didn't look like someone tried to clean it, and it wasn't enough blood to assume that the person died from it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't freak me out.
"Is anyone there?" I asked desperately, not hoping for my captor to answer, but rather for any other people who might be held here.
"Yeah, there are a few." A girl answered. It was hard to see her but I could tell she was sitting down leaning against the bars of another cell. "C-can someone please tell me what's going on."
"So you knew, huh?"
"Y-yeah."
"Okay, here's the deal. No one really knows what's going on. When you leave the cell you don't come back. Assume everyone who leaves is dead. If you don't want to leave the cell listen to what they say. Don't say anything, don't do anything, don't ask them anything, don't look at them, don't show emotion, don't.... well everything. Unless they ask you to do something, then do what they say. Keep your sentences short and simple. Use words that even dumb people will understand so you don't make them mad or feel inferior, because I'll tell you they want to feel superior, and they're capable of anything. Don't use just body language to answer in this dim lighting. Also it's m'am and sir. Try to use that every time you are asked to speak. You are given little food and water sometimes. You're going to be hungry but don't complain or ask for more. You're also going to be cold. Deal with it. Pretty much keep everything to yourselves. Someone comes in looking for fun and slaps you around react. Don't scream so loud you scare the birds but don't do nothing because they'll just get more angry. Act week in front of them but still act strong. Don't act tired, or dehydrated, or hungry, or anything cause then your next. Just at least pretend to feel pain when they hit you otherwise they take you out of anger. Also... no wait that's it."
The person seems mean at first but she's actually a really kind person.
"Y-you really know your stuff.. what's your name?" I asked.
"We don't do names."
"We?"
"It's not just you and I in these cells. People come and go all the time but some are still here."
"O-Oh... I'm Lucy."
"Cana."
"Wait... Any relation to Cana Alberona?"
"Yeah why?" Cana questioned.
"It's Lucy. Lucy from school. W-we have gym class together. It was said that you and your parents moved so you transferred schools."
"Transferred schools. Hah." She repeated bitterly.
"Anyways... Lucy, huh? Thought you were mute. Well whatever... if your from school then you should know that one of the people running here is-"
Cana was interrupted when we heard footsteps. She acted like she told me to. I could go into detail but you heard her speech. I did the same.
One of the last things I expected was hearing their voice.
"Hey Lucy, how's it going?"
