Poor kid... I hope I know what I'm doing....

The girl stepped out of the bathroom once more and into the purple bedroom. G wasn't there this time however.

She sighed and stepped softly over to the bunk bed. She took a seat on the bottom bunk and decided to wait for him.

When the skeleton returned, he had a blue mug in his hand, steam was rising from it.

G stared at the girl, she was only wearing the blank tank top which was very long and was very low on her small chest. The towel however was layed across her lap, but he could see from her legs that she wasn't wearing the pants.

Then he noticed just how torn up she was. Sure he had sort of saw it before when he removed her wet, torn clothes ealier, but it was dark and he tried his best not to look at her. Now however, he couldn't tare his eyes away from her bruises, scrapes and scars.

He could feel his SOUL breaking to pieces. Her pale skin made the blue, black, green and yellow bruises and her infected scrapes and cuts look so nasty. He knew he would have to treat those.

Realizing he was staring, he quickly shook his head and stepped over to her. "Hey sweetheart. Here's the hot chocolate, this should help warm you." He handed her the mug with a warm smile.

The girl nodded and took it a bit tentatively. She blew on it before sipping it. She immediately gave a happy moan and let her body relax.

G chuckled. "Glad you like it doll." He watched her happily, seeing her smile was amazing to him.

After a few more sips, the girl blushed and looked down a bit before returning her gaze to him shyly. "Um... I-I... I need um... u-underwear." She said so softly, G almost missed it.

"O-oh right. Humans wear that stuff. Well, uh most girls do. Heh heh. I-I think it's one of those top drawers. It's a friends room, she comes and stays sometimes. She wont mind if you borrow some stuff." The skeleton said standing up straight. "Lemme get you a sweatshirt though, your gonna be cold in a minute." He added as he turned to leave.

"T-thank you..." the girl mumbled. G gave a wave. "No prob kid."

When he was gone, the girl went over to the dresser and opened the top left drawer. Sure enough, it was the right one. There wasn't much, she assumed the 'friend' didn't stay for long periods of time.

Finding a black pair of bikini panties, the girl dropped the towel and donned them there. She then pulled the tank top down again, it was long enough on her to cover her rear.

When she went to sit at the night stand, G returned.

"O-oh, hey. Heh, guess I should have knocked." He said blushing. She gave him a 'why?' Look.

G gave a sigh and shook his head. He smiled at her and came over to stand behind her. "Were the pants to big?" He asked. The girl nodded.

G couldn't help but chuckle, realizing just how tiny this girl was, and she didn't even really appear to be under 17.

"Don't worry, I'll find a pair of old shorts with a draw string or something later. For now though," he grabbed a small soft blanket off the back of another chair and layed it across her lap.

"And then," He continued as he dissapeared into the bathroom, and came back with another towel. With one hand he lifted her long wet hair and with the other he managed to drape the towel over her shoulders. It was dry and warm.

"This'll help while I brush your hair." The skeleton explained as he reached over her shoulder for the blue hair brush resting on the stand.

The girl stared in shock as he gently brushed out her long tangled and wet hair. "Hey kid, can you hand that to me? It says detangler, so I'll assume it detangles. That should help a bit, ya think?" He asked, pointing to a bottle on the night stand.

The girl paused a moment before grabbing the one he was pointing at, then handed it to him. "Thanks doll." He said smiling. He clumsily sprayed her hair down a bit before running the brush through again.

"There! Much better. Hey sweetheart, you gotta name? Not that it really matters, I just think it'd be nice to know it." He continued to brush, but kept glacing at her expressions in the mirror.

The girl looked down and fiddled with her fingers.

G frowned. "Come on princess, there's nothing to be affraid of anymore. I promise your safe here. I know your scared and you don't really have any reason to trust me, but I did save your life. And I want to help you. You were pretty much dead when I brought you here. I didn't want you to die ya know. I don't want you to ever be hurt again. I want to protect you. I don't know why, this really isn't something i normally do, but you, you are so different, I just feel i have to. So your in no danger here kiddo. I promise."

The girl continued to stare at her hands.

"Alright then. I'll give you a name. Let's see... how bout Dory?" He said with a smirk. The girl looked up at his reflection on the mirror. Her face spoke horror and disgust.

G bursted out in laughter, causing the girl to grow a bit angry. "That's a horrible name!" She said. It wasn't a yell, but it made G stop. He smiled hearing her voice.

"Got a better one?" He coaxed. The girl scrunched her nose up which G immediately deemed adorable without second thought.

"Lucy." She mumbled, looking down to her lap.

The skeleton was growing a bit tierd of the mumbling, "What was that sweetheart?" He said leaning closer to her.

She growled a bit but sighed. "Lucy." She said slightly louder.

G smiled sweetly and patted her wet head. "That's a very pretty name. Much better than Dory." He gave her a wink, making her smile slightly.

Lucy... I promise to protect you. Always.
