'He's not real. I've died and gone to heaven right? ... none of this is real....'

Lucy laid awake in bed, staring at the ceiling as she tossed and turned. She was having a very hard time sleeping, and no longer having G around left her to her own mind, which wasn't a very good thing.
Her mind quickly filled with dark and frightning thoughts as soon as the skeleton had left. Tears fell from the poor girl's eyes as one thought floated in her head, 'he doesn't even know...'.

With help of the rain, Lucy eventually fell into the limbo between dreams and reality. Her head ached from crying so much, and from the depression that wracked her body in a sickening coil of pain.
As her vision grew dark, her soft sobs faded and her body slacked. White, grey and purple ribbions of light filled her vision, coaxing her further to sleep. Then, something new entered her vision, something strange, a bit frightning and yet familiar.
'What... no who is that? It... it almost looks like... like G...' The girl wondered as the figure came into veiw. It was a tall figure cloaked in black. His face was white as bone, one eye was open and droopy while the other was closed and yet still droopy. He had a crack from the top of his right eye reaching over his head, and one from the bottom of his left reaching to his mouth.'Just like G!' The girl realized, adding to her confusion.
His whole being was droopy, like black ooze or ink. He reached out a bone hand, and it had a hole in the middle of it.
Lucy gasped, 'What is this?! It's not G! I-It's not!'
'Please child, don't be affraid. I'm not here to hurt you, I am G's father.' The figure spoke. His voice was sophisticated, soft and gentle.
His face was scary, yet he gave off a vibe of kindness.'G-G's f-father?' She whispered. That would explain the resemblance, yet the girl found it hard to believe.
'W-why should I trust you?' She asked, finding a bit of confidence in her voice. The man tilted his head and gave a soft, heartfelt chuckle. It didn't scare Lucy, but it confused her slightly.
'My dear, I understand your apprehension, and I wish I could have come to you in a much less... frightning manner, but this was my only choice. I think it's better for you to meet me in 'person', instead of a random voice speaking in your head. That would be... not good I think.' His wide, permanent grin turned soft.
Lucy stayed silent. She wasn't sure how to take any of this. The strange man -now understood as skeleton- noticed this and took to thinking of how he could remedy this situation.
'My name is Dr. W. D Gaster. But please child, call me Gaster. And you are Lucy? Is that your real name?' He asked, coming closer to her.
The girl looked down out of reflex. 'Yes... But how... h-how do you k-know my name?' She asked timidly.
The skeleton chuckled softly again. 'G told me all about you. He really seems to have taken a liking to you.' The girl looked up shyly now, but he wasn't finished.
'My son is a kind man, but he manages to keep from getting attached to people these days... seeing the way he cares for you... It makes my heart happy. Very happy.' He said. His voice was so soft and kind, it made Lucy feel safe. Much like when she was with G.
She smiled at that thought. 'Then maybe he is G's father...' She figured. 'Are you really G's father?' She asked to try and reassure her thoughts, though it came out timidly.
Gaster nodded and held his hands together. 'Yes, indeed I am. I have been away for a while and only just returned today while he was cooking. He explained to me what has happened, and told me he worries for you.'
Lucy blinked. She was unaware that G worried about her. 'Oh no...'
'Is something wrong child?' Gaster asked calmly.
'He... shouldn't be worrying about me'
'And why not?'
'Because... I-I'm just not worth the thought....' She whispered sadly.
Gaster's eyes softened in concern. 'Why do you say that? Especially when there is far more to your insecurity. '
Lucy shook her head, leaving it at that. She no longer wanted to talk. She wanted to sleep so tomorrow she could execute her leave.
'Do not think I can read your mind, because I cant, but I hear one word coming from you as loud as day. 'Leave'. And it's not directed at me. My dear, what ever could have you so down?' He asked softly, stepping forward again cautiously.
Lucy shook her head again. She didn't want to talk and she didn't want to answer either. Gaster was troubled by her behavior.
'Lucy... I wish you would see me as someone you can talk to freely. I will only ever be a voice in the head of those I chose. I am not of your world anymore. I'm.... lonely now as well. I'm trapped in this void, and I cannot be freed. I bear you no harm, and I wish to be someone you confide in eventually.' He gave a caring smile as he came very close to her.
The girl looked up with shy eyes. She was very confused as to why these two skeletons were trying to be so nice to her. The most confusing part was the fact that she believed them. She believed they were kind and honest. That was something that she never felt with anyone.
Gaster gave Lucy one last kind smile before he looked up in worry. 'I have to go now. Somethings wrong with G...' He mumbled before disappearing into a poof of purple and black smoke.
The girl was left alone again in the dark. 'G-G? S-somethings... somethings wrong with him? S-should I wake up and go see?' The girl was now in a fit of worry over her hero. 'But surely, he will be fine, right? With his father there, he will be fine. He just had to be.' She thought as she tried to let the darkness consume her again.
She sighed sadly and shook her head. 'Tomorrow... everything will be gone and over. He won't have to worry or care about me anymore. That should help him...
Tomorrow... I can finally..... Rest...'
