'I wonder if this is how they felt... when they found me alive?'

~•~♡~•~

G sat on his bed, now wearing black shorts and a grey shirt that said, "No Brooklyn Till Sleep". He held his phone in his hand, and was replying to mesages he left untouched through out the day.

He didn't tell anyone what had happened to him in the past few days, but everyone seemed pretty worried about him. He couldn't help but smile, though he was feeling stressed again on what to do.

A sound in the hall made him look up. His door was half open, and he could see Lucy standing outside her door, clutching the blanket he had given her tightly. Her eyes were wide and full of fear. Even in the darkness, G could tell she was trembling.

The skeleton raised a brown and got up, but when he heard a tiny whimper, he nearly fell off the bed in a scramble.

"Hey hey hey doll face whats going on?" He spoke softly as he came up to her. She burried her face in the blanket and sobbed, her shoulders trembling madly from her tears.

G was quick to kneel and hold her, though he did it carefully. He shushed her quietly and rubbed her back. He nuzzled the top of her head a bit, trying to sooth her and get her attention.

"What's wrong dove? What happened?" He asked in a soft whisper. The girl just cried harder and in a quick movement, wrapped her arms around him for comfort.

The skeleton sighed softly and patted her head. "It's ok sweetheart, it's ok. Don't worry." He assured her before picking her up. She wrapped her legs around his hips as soon as her feet left the ground. She clung to him like a life line.

G's SOUL ached in her pain. He could feel her fear, her sorrow and agony. Nightmares were never good, and after this week, he wasn't suprised she was having the worst of them.

The skeleton sighed and carried the girl into his room. Having her back made him feel so much better, yet it hurt him too. He didn't want to get attached again. He never meant for this to happen. All over again.

The monster gently laid the human girl on his bed. Her hair fell around her, and her tears glistened in the low desk lamp light. Her big blue eyes shone with fear and agony as she clutched G's shirt.

He was leaning over her, arms around her and her legs around his hips. It didn't feel wrong though. His SOUL didn't ache the way it would have, nothing about this felt wrong.

All he wanted was to hold her, too let her know she was alright. Someone cared about her, and she wasn't alone. He gave a pained smile and rested his forhead against hers. "Hey angel, don't cry. It's ok... it's ok, your safe, your here. I'm here...."

The girl continued to sob. One of her small hands released his shirt and found his cold cheek. "I-I'm so s-sorry! I'm s-so s-sorry!" She cried.

G could feel his SOUL cracking at the pure agony in her tiny voice. "L-Lucy, it's ok. It's ok. Just calm down." He layed down next to her and pulled her into a protective embrace.

The girl shook her head, weakly mumbling no's as she pushed away enough to look him in the eye. "I-I'm so s-sorry... G-G... I-I... Y-You.... I-I c-can't.... Oh my God." She let out an agonizing cry and let go of him. She pulled on her hair in a fit of some sort of rage.

G was quick to grab her hands and make her let go of her hair. "Lucy! Lucy snap out of it! Calm down... everything is ok now. It's ok!" His voice cracked slightly at the sight of her. She might as well have been crying blood. What the hell did she dream of?

All she did was sob softer, but she was still not quite all there. The skeleton sighed. He didn't know what to do anymore. He suddendly felt so tired and helpless.

He picked her up again and threw back his blankets. "Come on, stay with me tonight. You'll sleep better I think." He whispered as he layed her in the sheets. He crawled in after her and yawned.

Lucy was quick to cuddle against him. She continued to mumble something about being sorry. G stroked her long hair and used his magic to turn off his desk lamp. "G'night angel... everythings ok now. Your ok now..." He whispered slowly. He felt himself falling asleep already. How odd.

'What's happened to me? I'm not supposed to get attached! This... this ISN'T supposed to happen!'
