'What's happened to me? I'm not supposed to get attached! This... this ISN'T supposed to happen!'

~•~♡~•~

Sunday Morning. It was a beautiful day, the birds were singing, the flowers unfortunately weren't blooming, but the sun was shining!

And Lucy was feeling better and sleeping in. This brought an ease to G, the day before was stressful. Lucy had three sick spells, and the skeleton still didn't know what was causing her illnesses. The human said that whatever was killing her caused the sick spells, but neither of them knew what was killing her.

G ran a boney hand over his skull. He needed help, and there was only one person he felt comfortable talking to right now. In fact, he was standing outside said person's doorway right now. Well, leaning against the wall, staring across the hall at his own doorway. That snowman still smiling at him.

The skeleton just wanted to sleep. He wasn't normaly like this. He hardly ever slept. It was just something his body -or lack of body- learned to function without. It never bothered him, he was used to staying up all night working at his desk.

At first, the skeleton thought that perhaps the stress was causing him to be tired, but he was used to dealing with stress, and it didn't bother his sleeping habits. He had a theory that it might have something to do with Lucy's SOUL.

He and his father believed she might have a certain disease that was a bit common with Green or Bluegreen SOULs. But if she had that disease, it wouldn't drain G, it would drain herself. If anything, G would have more energy.

The skeleton was quickly snapped from his thoughts when a familiar and friendly voice filled the hall.

"G!!!! Oh my God bro it's been like, what man? A week since I've seen or heard from you!" The short dark skinned man held his arms out and gave the skeleton a shame-on-you look.

G smiled lazily and pushed himself off the wall. He opened his arms wide and gave his best friend a big hug. "Hey man I'm sorry, but when you hear the shit thats gone down, you wont hold it against me."

"Mmmhhmm~ we'll see about that." His friend gave a sassy response, making both men laugh. "Come on in bro! Come in!" The shorter man unlocked his apartment door and led in his towering friend.

"How have you been though D?" G smirked a bit at the nickname he had given the man a long time ago.

"I've been amazing~!" The man sung a bit as he hung up his coat and hat. "Oh my God bro, I was in the park last week, joggin' along ya know, next thing I know, I got squirrels chace'n me! Like, dude? How does that happen?!" He threw his arms out and shrugged, looking at G almost as if expecting an answer.

G laughed at his friend's storytelling. "And how was that, amazing?" The skeleton asked with a smirk as he sat in the cozy modern living space.

The human smirked and waved his finger. "Ah see, you probably know where I'm going with this." He walked around the bar and into the kitchen. The kitchen and living room were ajoined.

"So, there I was, running from a pack of angry, wild squirrels, when the most b.e.a.u.tiful girl in the wooorrlld came around the next turn. Everything went into slow motion as I quite ungracefuly tripped and landed on the path, scraping my poor elbows and hands." His emotional storytelling had G trying to hide a laugh.

"Oh no Deandre, not your poor, innocent, precious elbows and hands!" G played along. Oh how he had missed his best friend.

Deandre came back with two ice cold coke bottles. He handed one to G before taking a seat himself and continuing his story.
