Her grades are falling
And so is she
Down a hole of what used to be
Wishing and wanting to be set free
From all of the terrible memories
She's just hit a funk, supposedly
But she's fallen deeper than you'd believe
And she smiles just like things are what they're supposed to be
Like she's still the girl she always has to be
But her grades are falling and you can't see
That she isn't the way she's supposed to be
