It's funny how we all have our ghosts
Ghosts of the past, threatening to pull us backwards
Ghosts of the present, threatening to push us off our feet
Ghosts of the future, threatening to crush our will to go on
And it's funny that we can't see anyone's ghosts but our own
After all, ghosts are invisible unless we choose to see them
And honestly, whether we admit it or not, we all choose not to see the ghosts that haunt those around us
Because, we are too busy being haunted by our own
