A demise so fast we can't tell when it's the end
A sear of pain, so rapid we can't feel it
A swift ending that comes when our eyes closeI haven't had so much of a wish
Apparently what I've earned is the opposite
Because my death is being drawn out so long
So slow I am fading, and I can feel everything
