We are all running
But from what?
But to where?
Whatever from
It will catch up to us
Eventually
Wherever to
We might not make it
Eventually
But that doesn't stop us from
Giving
Up
Because that's what we are
Persistent
That's what we do
We hope
That's what makes us
Who we are
Human
And we prevail
Nothing scares us
We live knowing
Death will catch up to us
We run knowing
We will get tired and old
And we will wither
And we will fade
And we will break
And we will die
But we will not give up
And we won't
Stop
Running
