My eyes say I can't dance,
But my body says I can
And my ears say I can't sing,
But my heart says that I can
And so I dance not for my eyes,
I dance for my body's peace
And I sing not for my ears,
I sing for my heart's release
And my eyes do not make me dance,
My body does it for me
And my ears don't make me sing,
My heart does it for me
And the music washes through me;
Makes me close my eyes, but takes over my body
And the music washes through me;
Pleases my ears, but takes over my heart
