Chapter 15.

"We're gonna need to know if you identify any of these."Suzie says taking a seat next to Diana, they hand me the stack and I look through the pictures. I look through the first 2 pictures. They have clothes with..red stains..you could say..on them. I gulp a look through the rest hoping I don't see any clothes that'll match Lucas and/or Dani' s that have blood on them.

I go through half of them until I finally hit one..

I look away, it was the the grey and white striped shirt he wore before I left with Kate, except it was now coated in dried blood.

"You recognize this one?Robert asks, I take a deep breath and nod.

"I'm sorry, can I please take a step..out?"I ask, they all nod, I quickly leave the room and enter the hallway. I pull out my phone to call my mom.

"Liam, hello, this is unexepcted. Thought you'd call later."mom says, I sigh.

"Mom..Kate needs to stay at your house for a couple of days, you lost your grandson mum."I say whispering the last part.

"What, no! He's not gone, he can't be!"Mom cries into the phone, I feel the lump in my throat ready to burst.

"B-but we still n-need to find his body, they showed p-pictures of clothes with b..blood on them, and I saw the shirt that Lucas was wearing before I left.."I say, mom's breath hitches.

"D-don't tell Kate...yet."I say gulping hoping that lump would go away.

"O-okay, but what about Dani? What do I tell her?"mom asks, I sigh and the rub the back of my neck.

"I don't know about Dani..I don't have any updates about her.."I say.

"Liam, we're going to need you hurry the call. We're going to search with the search team."Fredi says peeking his head back in the room.

"Okay, I gotta go. Bye mum.."I say and quickly hang up.

**Dani's pov**

"STOP DON'T TAKE HIM!!"I scream as the guy who never told us his name was taking Lucas to another room.

"Mom!!"Lucas cries pounding on the guy's back, I couldn't do anything to help. I was tied down and helpless with bruises covering me. I was now in the empty room alone and I was sore, my breathing was heavy and my throat hurted.

"MOMM!!"Lucas cries from another room, my heart was racing. I need to be there taking whatever Lucas is taking instead of him! I wanted to call back but my throat was burning and I could barely talk.

After about 10 minutes, the guy came back with Lucas' s limp body, he placed Lucas a few inches away from me and snickered at what he accomplished.

"Next time, listen to what I say Dani. Cos' remember..I'm not afraid to hurt him again!"he warns before leaving.
