Chapter 19.

"Liam..Liam."Dani snaps her fingers in front of my face, I shake my head, "Yeah, eh, what?"I mutter shaking away the thought of little Loki. "The dog, a guard dog but nice..like Loki."Dani notifies me, I gulp away the guilty feeling. "That'd be nice..but what kind of dog?" I ask.

"I want something that good enough to protect us but you know...Will be playful and nice to the kids." Dani replies grabbing my hand and squeezing it, I give a half smile. Loki was running through my mind, he was so adorable and loyal, he really was a man's best friend. "Liam I miss him to, but that was six years ago..it's time to move on. Maybe Loki would like us to." Dani quietly says.

"Yeah, we should get going, I don't want the kids to get sick." I say standing up and helping her up, "Kate, Lucas, let's go!" Dani calls, they hop off the swings and run towards us.

=:=:=:= Time skip 2 days later

I want to surprise Dani and the kids, we're not supposed to get the dog until next week, so here I am at the Animal Shelter. "Hi, welcome to Debby' s Animal Shelter, anything you're specifically looking for?" a nice woman, maybe around 22-23 asks. "Yes, I would like a guard dog."I reply, "Okay, follow me to the back."she smiles walking to the back.

"Say, are you Liam Payne?" she asks as she leads us, "Yes I am." I reply. "I was a huge fan of yours, you saved my life Mr. Payne." she whispers, I crack a smile, "Thank you for being a fan, wouldn't really know where I would be without fans." I say, "And thanks for saving my life." she says turning around and grabbing the keys from behind me.

"May I see your wrist, if you don't mind?" I ask as she unlocks the door leading to another room with more yelping, whimpering, barking dogs. "..Okay.."she murmurs rolling up her sleeves and revealing scars where cuts used to be, " I was bullied for being overweight." she mutters unrolling the sleeves and proceeding what she was doing.

"I'm sorry." even though I wasn't the one bullying her, I just wanted to say sorry, she turned around and hugged me tightly. I didn't mind, in fact I hugged her back.

"Alright, stay quiet." I say opening the door so it can hop out, it cocked it's head, "Alright let me say it easier. You, No, Speak. You, Stay, Quiet."I say.

"I'm home!" I call out, 1...2...3- "Daddddyyyy!" the kids tackle me not even noticing the dog, I knelt down so they hug me better. "What- Oh My Gosh!" Dani says coming out from the kitchen, she drops the towel and rushes towards the dog.

-End of Chapter 19- So my family adopted my Uncle's girlfriend's dog like 3 days ago but...he ran away yesterday. ;-;

So ermm..I'm sad.

His name was Max, he was...not really attractive, he was a Chihuahua mixed with a Terrier and his hair was rough as.. fudge and he had long hair. And I miss my little Maxi Bear. Yeah that's his nickname.
